Good boy (Hinata)

"Friends?" He looked at me confused. 

"Yes. Do you accept?" I asked him with a smile. He looked down for a moment and before I could notice he was crying. "Heh, why are you crying?" I ask. Doesn't he want to be my friend? Did I lose this one chance? I don't want anything more than this, but is this it? I'm getting frustrated.

"B-Because y-you are my first f-first!" He said through sobbing. All of my sadness from a minute ago vanished. I was his first friend...I'm all he needs. 

I hugged him and held him tight. He continued to cry in my arms for a bit, but it was over soon with a sweet smile. 

"What's your name?" I asked. I've been eager to know. "Shouyou, Hinata Shouyou." I smiled widely because I can't describe how I'm feeling. "I'm Akira... Nakemura Akira, hehe."

After we became friends, we did everything together. I noticed he has this crazy obsession with volleyball. It's cute, so I would play with him most of the time. He joined the leadership club with me and we would play volleyball during that time. I don't get it though. He is small and very short, but he plays volleyball as if it's the most important thing to him. What I didn't know was that volleyball was gonna be my worst enemy...

He made other friends during this year, but as long as they didn't disturb our time, I don't care. 

Spending a lot of time, made me realize how much more I wanted him and it made me forget about Mr. Hinata.

We had a field trip coming up in our club. It was over the weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. We were given this trip for our hard work in our club with the school program. I was excited of course because I could spend more time with Sho. 

However, Sho rejected the offer. "Sorry guys, I can't go." He smiled, but the smile looked like he wanted to go. "Why? Please Sho. Come. with me. We are going to have a lot of fun together." I'm. trying my best to convince him and it seems like it's working. 

"I-I d-don't know." Sho didn't want to say no. "Please come on. I beg you. Do this for your friend." He looked away for a moment and then smiled my way. "Ok, I'll go." Yes, he said yes.

I can finally get closer to him.

It was finally Friday morning. I couldn't sleep whatsoever. I had packed my things yesterday, so I ate breakfast and left. 

I got where the bus was going to pick us up and there he was, Shouyou. I smiled at him and he returned it. We all got on the bus and off we went. It seemed like my dream was coming to reality and it made me so happy.

We were staying on the mountain. Kinda like camps. My roommate was Sho and my other friends. Sho was on the top bed and I was on the bottom. 

We spend our day hiking, eating, and learning about nature. We were all exhausted by the end of the day. Sho looked exhausted too. That's why Sho and I decided to go to our camp first. We were given permission and we went to our room to rest. 

Once I was on the bed, I got curious and asked, "Sho are you still awake?" He moved a bit and a little mumbled saying yeah. "Can you come down for a moment?" He came down and sit on my bed. "What's wrong?" He said as he rubbed his eyes. Cute..."Came closer." He came closer and then I kissed him.

Author's Pov.

Sho had woken up by the sudden kiss. He looked confused at Akira. "I wanted to let you know how I felt and this looked like my chance, so I took it." He said nervously. I guess he didn't think about Sho's answer.

Sho thought he was gentle and sweet, so Sho smiled at him. Akira saw the smile and hugged him. "Does this mean you like me too?" Akira pouted and Sho laughed and nodded. Then Akira kissed Sho once more. This moment looked like the best moment for both of them.

The camp ended and a couple's story started. They returned in the early morning. Just enough time for them to go back home and come back to school on time. What Akira and Sho didn't know was that they weren't gonna like what was gonna happen next. 

They all got off the bus and picked up the items. As Akira and Sho were about to head out, there was a car waiting right in front of the school. Akira was confused about Sho's behavior because Sho just froze in fear. 

Akira couldn't think at the moment about why Sho would be scared, but soon he realized it, as the car door opened only to reveal that man with long black hair... Mr. Hinata...

Akira's Pov.

The man got out of the car and walked towards both of us. He came closer and just stood in front of us. He wore elegant clothes and he was tall. I was tall too, but I was only 5'9 at that time. 

He gave me an emotionless look and then looked at Sho in anger. Sho just looked down not daring to say a word. Before I could say anything, the man held Sho's arm and dragged him to the car. As he got dragged and thrown into the car with the door shut, I ran after him trying to help him. However, it wasn't working.

The doors were shut and Sho gave me a look of fear through the black windows. That look was the last thing I saw before the car drove off. 

I didn't see Sho that day or the next day. By that time I was going crazy. Was Sho not gonna return? Did I lose him? 

I was anxious. I was mad, sad, and confused. I wanted Sho to come back to me. 

And he did return. He indeed returned, but with a bruise on his cheeks. I didn't realize the other bruises on his body until later at lunchtime. I asked him what happened after that man picked him up, but he ignored the topic. He didn't want to talk about it.

I decided to never speak of the man too. Sho got anxious whenever I wanted answers about his family. The only family member I knew was his mom and his older sister, Natsu because I visited many times. 

Turns out he spends the weekdays with his mom and the weekend with the man. If he were with the man over the weekend, doesn't that mean Mr. Hinata was Sho's dad... and that his parents were divorced? 

So, aunty Emi is his stepmom and the man is his dad, but nobody had ginger hair in the family. Was Sho their real son or adopted?...  

I never asked again after having this theory...This was too messed up.

I hugged and kissed him every chance I got after that. I wanted to do more and I did. Sho just went along with me having that smile on his face. I didn't know why, but I feel as if it was my fault that Sho got hurt and it made me mad.
