TW: bad news

"Do you want me to stay or leave?" Jungkook asked his boyfriend. They were sitting in the doctors office and waited for the doctor to come.

Jimin squished Jungkooks hand. "I need you here right beside me."

"I'll always be there if you need me baby."

The doctor came back and sat down in front of them.
"Alright Jimin, we have some news for you. One of these are really bad news."

"Don't hold back. I want to know every detail."

"Your heart is getting really weak. We don't know for sure why that happens. If the medication doesn't help soon we need to think about the possibility that you need a heart transplantation." The doctors voice was calm as he tried to make sure Jimin understood what he just said.

Jungkook softly caressed Jimins hand as he noticed that the older began to tear up.

"I would like to try out a new treatment method. New medication, in the hopes that we can slow it down and strengthen your heart so that you won't need a transplantation. We have really good experiences with this method."

Jimin and Jungkook listened closely to what the doctor told them. He explained how the new medication would work and what the possible side effects could be. But he also said, that if the medication would work for Jimin, that the young man would get back a lot of life quality back. He would have the chance to walk and eventually run again without getting short of breath. That were the positive aspects. If the medication wouldn't work out Jimin had to think about getting a new heart.

While listening both of the young man tried to hide their emotions and feelings in front of doctor Kwon. But all the time they had in mind that they couldn't change Jimins condition and would have to trust the medication and the doctors.
