𝚃𝚊𝚎𝚑𝚢𝚞𝚗𝚐
I wake to light snores that Ji Yeon produces. Her bare body is snuggled on me peacefully. I smile and kiss her hair. She groan and I slightly panic. She moves on the other side of the bed and I took the chance to get up and make breakfast.
I never made breakfasts before but I know she needs it. I put on a white shirt and boxers. That was the nicest sleep I had but my muscles are sore. I stretch first before going downstairs.
As I was going down on the stairs, the doorbell rings and I went to get it. It's Mom and my face lit up when I see my little pomeranian.
"Hi mom, come in." She let's go of Yeontan and he runs up to me and I pull him up to me. He licks my face as I hug him.
"I just went here to check on you since I haven't last week. How's the business going?"
"About that. I'm planning to step dow-"
"Sweetheart, we talked about this." My mom whines.
"I can't handle too much work, mom. I'm not ready to operate a whole business and I'm too young to a CEO."
"Then who's gonna take over our business? Your father is already old and can't handle too much stress."
"Go ask Taesung. I'll take over the business IF I'm ready." My Mom's face dropped sad when I mentioned his name.
Taesung, my older brother. He has a family and has an experience on this kind of stuff. He's a good brother to me, we had a good relationship but then he ended up impregnating his girlfriend. My parents were upset when they found out because they're still young. He was 18 and she was 16. Him, together with his wife moved to a city and hasn't really reached out to us.
"Honey, please think about this" She puts her hand on my back and looked at my eyes.
"I already did, mom. I'm only 23 and I still want to enjoy life. Please Mom." I plead but she hesitates to answer.
"Good morning!" Both of our attention draws to Ji Yeon and her eyes widen as she sees my mom. She immediately bows and my mom looks at me.
