MIGHTY WARRIORS

I come from a race proud and strong

A warrior from the past of days long gone

Riding through the plains proud and free

Hunting to feed my tribe and family

Riding through the plains my warriors go

To chase down the mighty Buffalo

His meat we will eat just to survive

His hide is our homes and our families pride

We take from the land only what we need

Giving thanks to Mother Earth for it's our tribe she feeds

But then the white man came to us one day

To destroy our proud human race

They took away our land and gold

They tried to steal our pride and soul

They put us on the reservations

And made us live in deprivation

But what he fail to understand

Is when God created him he created the red man

He fail to take away our pride

Because the mighty warriors learned to survive
