The portals light was blinding but inviting none the less, his body drawn towards the light that seemed to call him closer by fate. With his heart in his hands and shaky breath, he placed a foot through the portal before following with his body. Beng pulled through with flashes of beautiful colors he had never seen before.
He screamed, feeling his soul be moved, and distorted, through the now moving world around him that was as new as anything could get. He then fell to his knees, his eyes squeezed shut in fear and anticipation. He was scared. Peeling his eyes open, slowly, he was graced with the sight of green fresh grass, trailing through his splayed fingers. His eye widened in shock it felt so real, he ran his hands along the grass as if It was the first time in his life. He smiled softly before realizing the situation. Where was he?
Rising slowly to shaky knees, he planted his feet along the grass feeling it fatten and tickle his bare soles. Peering around he saw large trees, without imperfections or bugs burrowing, they looked almost perfect. He could hear the chirping of birds communicating, and the trees rustling with the soft breeze. It was warm, but a comforting warmth, not too harsh but not too cold either. He grinned, his eyes glimmering, the pain in his stomach had subsided, he could see the color of his skin regaining and his hair was no longer thin. Dark black locks flowed over his shoulders as he ran a hand through it as if for the first time. Tears prickled in his eyes, he felt happy.
As his hair blew softly in the coming winds he turned around, he wasn't in the forest, just alongside one. He looked along the landscape, a large building looming on the mountain casting shadows over the land. He took a few steps, walking along the grassy plains, the grass blowing gently against his ankles as he watched the sky and the birds soaring over his head. Stopping mid-stride he watched as birds scuttled from the grasses, like large hummingbirds their wings fluttered insanely fast for their sizes. They had colors of beauty, turqoise, pinks, reds, and voilets, all seeming irrdecent as they shone in the light.
His eyes glimmered softly as he saw the reason the birds had flew, he immediately tucked himself down into the grasses as a beast emerged from the hill side. Large hooves hindered the dirt, covered with brown speckled fur. A short bobbed til and a back covered with plates. His eyes were blue, body noble and majestic as plates hung on his shoulders. Slowly the centaurs head turned this way and that, hoofing the ground before picking up a scent on the wind, snorting he ran past where the boy was hidden among the brush. Only to be started by the thudding sounds behind him. Swiftly turning he looked up to a grey female centaur, her eyes kind and a smile playing on her lips, her long hair was white with a cloth hung over her chest.
