The Mindscape

The hospital was dead silent. Skye had no idea why. She was home right? She could see herself and (Y/n) in the hospital beds.

Oh wait.

She could see herself in front of her, lying unconscious in bed.

What the! This can't be possible! How am I... outside my body?

She looked down at her body, noticing she was partially transparent. She tried to grab onto (Y/n)'s hand, but her hand went right through it.

I must be in the mindscape or something... she concluded. How do I get back to my body?

A sudden earthquake hit the building, causing the world around her to crumble. The sky peeled like old paint, disappearing into a white void.

Her head suddenly began to hurt, her brain vibrating in her skull. Something was happening.

Someone was waking her up.

It all went black.

Then she awoke, a warm and comforting feeling surrounded her. She wasn't sure what it was exactly. She was laying on a bed in a place she didn't recognize. She slowly opened her eyes to see a figure standing next to her. She sat up quickly and was about to speak when the figure instantly jumped back and stumbled to the floor.

Skye got out from under the covers and sat up alarmed.

"Hey. Are you alright?" She said, picking him up. Her vision cleared and she was overjoyed to see-

"Will!?"

"H-hey Skye." He smiled sheepishly at her.

She pulled him into a hug, grateful to see him again. They broke off after awhile.

"Where are we?"

"We're still in Gravity Falls Skye. After you disappeared I went looking all over for you, and I finally found you in the forest. You were dying, so I had to bring you into the mindscape so I could properly heal you." Skye looked down, noticing all her wounds were healed.

"Oh my gosh Will you're a lifesaver! Literally... " Then reality struck her. (Y/n) and the others.

"Where are the others?" She asked a little worried. His head sunk.

"Bill took most of them captive. They've been held prisoners in the fearamid while the Pines family went looking for answers to defeat Bill." Will explained.

"Well can't we rescue them?" She asked.

"It's too dangerous Skye. You barely had any time to recover and it would be us two against Bill and the rest of his army."

"Well we should at least try right?"

"Yeah we sh-" He paused suddenly. He began to glow a dim shade of blue.

"Will? What is it?"

"I umm... I'm being summoned."

"What? Right now? Who's summoning you?"

"I'm not sure. But I have to go. It's part of the code of demons."

"Wait! What if it's Bill? You'll be captured!"

"Well, I guess I'm gonna have to take that chance. I'll return to this exact spot, so don't go anywhere," he opened a portal, "Oh and if I'm not back by sundown, you'll know why."

"Ok. I'll see ya soon Will." and with that, Will entered the portal and Skye was left alone with her thoughts.

Or so she thought.
