ARIAM ELOISE DUBOIS was never one to be patient or slow when it came to anything especially love, she can't help the fact that she falls faster than the average person and it's not her fault they can't keep up. Everything with Aria was fast. The way she talked, the way she walked, the way she wrote, the way she learned etc.

The only time she was even remotely slow was when she sang because that's when she had the most control over her voice. She could control and alter her voice when she sang and it gave her a break sometimes.

When Ariam Dubois killed her 'father' it was slow and painful but not to her. So to be honest she liked the fact that she could be slow due to control but too much control would cause her to hurt someone.

Ariam didn't regret killing her father, not one bit. She loved him with all her heart but he was a bad bad man. If he was the loving father she remembered before his turn then his death would effect her in ways that it even hurt to think of. But that part of him, the part she so deeply loved, was long gone. He was no longer that man.

Lucien Dubois, a wizard who came from a family of the purest blood chose to break the chain and rebel against his family by marrying Lisette Dubois, a half blood who's grandparents had travelled all the way from New Orleans, Louisiana in the 1920s right after the first world war.
