It was early in the morning when Yuri Millasnovich was called. He didn't want to anger his employer as Vlad had a mood czar Nicholas would be jealous of. He was surprised however, when he got out of bed to get the phone that instead of Vlad, his unwaveringly abusive employer, he was met by the charming voice of the president

"hello yuri, it's been a long time, I wanted to know if you had gotten a job in the..." the president looks at a note on his desk "five years since we last saw each other"

"yes and I am happy enough " yuri exclaimed
"you know it's against the law to lie to the president, anyway, once you find your way out of your denial or delusion, you come and find me and I will offer you a good, well-paid job."

Finding his way out of his house, he looked first at the eviction notice sticking out of his mailbox
This is enough to make him reconsider oleg's offer and he made his way to the office of Oleg Rasumkov.

When he arrived, he was greeted by Alexi, the man stood two foot taller than Yuri and twice as portly, the man was a giant. The dark haired man made no sound and just escorted yuri to oleg's office. When he got there oleg began his pitch.
"do you remember when we used to go camping in pripyat?"
"I already know where this is going and I do not want to document mutated wildlife even if I don't get beaten by a psychopathic rapist"
"You realise that you just gave yourself one of the best reasons to quit your job. You will not be harmed by an ex-convict but I can't say the same for anything else you find in pripyat"

I went home with single minded determination. I could accept my old friends offer and possibly die contributing to something or I can decline it, getting evicted, being assaulted at work and dieing alone are some things I don't want to happen to me and they will if I decline. This logic made my decision for me

"Hey Oleg, I will take that job."
