He needed money to support his struggling family. STALKER Interview; Pripyat, Saint Rosemary Hospital Interviewer: "Alright, camera's on the role. First thing we should ask you is about the environment of the Exclusion Zone, what's so "terrifying"...As you put it" The Interviewer shifted in his chair, crossing a leg over the other STALKER: "..It's, something really. The forests are red, the vines curl around buildings, it's beautiful , ..but-terrifying to say the least, if that makes sense" his tone was one of worry, but one of curiosity. Interviewer: "Seems reasonable. Tell me, many of the scavengers we've interviewed have spoke of a boy, youngest of all of you, and with a heart of bravery and hands of brutality?...The Eyes, I think they called 'him'..." The Interviewer tilted his head in curiosity, his pen-clasped hand sitting absently at the clipboard in his other ... STALKER: "..The Eyes?...Where to start....Well, he is a boy, yes, around 14 or 12 I don't know. He helped those who were trapped under debris and killed ravenous beasts corrupted by the radiation, his hands...Always, had a odor of dry blood on them. They always were bandage wrapped. One of our guys spotted him cooking a creature on a fire, using his own fingers like a spatula to flip the meat....He's terrifying for his age...Patrols had been single-handedly stopped because of his methods and intentions...I talked to him once in a abandoned building, he does this all for his dead father he said...And for curiosity..." Interviewer: "That's...Making me shiver just at the visualization *chuckle*...Do you think he meant to do the things you described?" the Interviewer wrote a few sentences down on his clipboard. STALKER: "He probably does it to survive and get out of the Exclusion Zone Alive. As for the average unspoken rule "Life is Better Than Price"...So" Interviewer: "I see...Mm, I think we are done here" The interviewer nodded with a smile as he got up. END OF INTERVIEW

This is my fanfic of the PC game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. It's an excellent game based on the Strugatsky brother's novel 'Roadside Picnic'. This novel was the first to made me realise that aliens would be so...well...alien, that we wouldn't be unable to understand anything about them, not even their waste! The game differs from the book. Among other differences, it is based on the fallout zone of the Chernobyl reactor and the city of Pripeyat a. I wrote this for a contest and I won a copy of the game, personally signed by the entire development team! This is the story of Oleg and leonid, Stalkers. One is ambitious and will stop at nothing to gain control of his faction and the other a traumatised outcast on a never ending search for his lost sister. Both quests collide in the twisted and dangerous area called the Zone, a region that defies human understanding.

Corre el año 2019, en venezuela, apenas está empezando la mala dirección del país. Ocurre el mega apagón nacional por la misma cantidad de dias, debido a que estaba la crisis, el centro nuclear no contaba con una planta electrica que aguantase dias sin tener acabarse A los dos días de acaba el combustible del reactor, lo que genera un sobrecalentamiento del nucleo que hace que explote de forma imprevista matando a una gran cantidad de personas que estaban trabajando en la planta debido a que no hay luz, y que los sistemas de comunicación se vieron seriamente dañados, por la exploción, no se da el aviso inmediato de la explosión Lo que hace que no se sepa con certeza lo sucedido en aquel sitio, especulandose sobre que solo fue una explosión de un transformador debido a los fallos electricos

But it did not stop daredevils from crossing the perimeter to make money or start a new life.

Katya was living with her father in Prypiat when an explosion happened at the Chernobyl Power Plant. She somehow managed to not only survive it but also to gain superpowers from the event.

Two ecologists, one an ill disciplined former intern scientist who only wishes to pay off his student debt, and his sibling a mercenary working for the ecologists. A dynamic duo, polar opposites but of the same blood. Together, they navigate the treacherous wasteland, facing deadly anomalies, ruthless bandits, and the ever-watchful Zone that seeks to break them.

The Soviet regime is crumbling, but that does not stop the ghosts of Chernobyl from haunting the living. Larisa Vladimirovna Sakharova is a KGB agent who hates her job, but keeps it because it pays the bills. Her true passion is ghost hunting.

Un experimento fallido de las fuerzas especiales norteamericanas obligó a la raza humana a dejar su placentero planeta tierra en el año 2051. Luego de que un extraño agente dentro del accidente nuclear ocurrido en Chernobyl en el año 1986, éste permanecerá hasta dicho año; un grupo de quince personas elegidas entre investigadores y más van al lugar de los hechos a evaluar lo que aún podría quedar allí y si hay rastros de algún ser extraordinario que viviera ahí. Está historia se desarrollará entornó a el accidente nuclear de Chernobyl y el nuevo hogar de la raza humana debido a un error de mezclas...
