I'd like to give a big thanks to @Ty-Luna for the inspiration and idea for this chapter!! Sorry it's so long😅 Thomas places Virgil down and Patton, the twins and Janus go over to a spot on the grass to set up their picnic for later. Logan kneels in front of a curious Virgil "hey Virgil where do you wanna go first?" Virgil brightens up " 'ide 'ide!!" Virgil shouts giggling "What do you say?" Thomas says smiling. Virgil looks up with puppy dog eyes "Pwease?" Logan puts Virgil on his hip picking up his giraffe and handing it over to him " 'fank mama" Thomas starts laughing at Logan's face. "u-um your welcome starlight" Logan says blushing madly. Logan found out too late that Virgil wanted to go down the slide together as Virgil was still slightly weary with heights. So Logan squeezed in with Virgil on his lap while the the others watched from the picnic blanket laughing besides Patton who was making his way over smiling. Logan and Virgil went up and down the slide a couple of times while Thomas caught and swung Virgil in the air when they reached the bottom while Patton was laughing and clapping. Then out of nowhere Virgil asks "*giggles* patty be daddy?" Patton was practically glowing after being labelled daddy. "of course kiddo!!" Logan, Thomas and Patton eventually went to sit down while placing the twins in charge of Virgil. With the twins Virgil wanted to play on the building construction thing? Basically this:

"Hey spider wanna see if you can beat me in naughts and crosses?" Remus shouts proudly (Roman silently thanking he was carrying Virgil) " oughts and rosses?" Virgil questioned confused "now don't tell us you've never played naughts and crosses my little bat?" Roman responded almost offended, placing Virgil down. "Nu uh baby never played it papa?" "..." "..." "HA! I got a label before you!!" "Damn it!" They both looked down when the heard a gasp both surprised when Virgil held a face that looked like he caught you kicking a puppy. "No bad words dada!!" Virgil shouts puffing his cheeks out angrily (which just resulted in him looking even cuter) "Sorry spider no more bad words, so shall we teach ya some good old naughts and crosses?" "Mhm~!!" They played naughts and crosses for a few minutes before climbing up and messing about in the tunnel and finally spiralling down the pole " *giggles* weeee" Janus makes his way over. (God it sounds like a script now 😂😂) "Hey kitten wanna give thessse idiotsss a break and play on the ssswing?" " that's mean!" Virgil looks up from where he's sitting on Romans lap puffing out his cheeks cutely yet again "Yesss~ of courssse it iss~ my apologiesss~" "Thank you very much" Roman replied very dramatically. "We'll be on our way then janny" "Whatever you rat" Remus turns up Virgil "See you in a bit Spider" Virgil looks up a bit (Janus picked him up) at the twins smiling brightly "Bye bye Dada bye bye papa!!" Janus looked at the two in disbelief while the two smugly strutted away. "You wanna go on the swings sweetie" " yayy 'ings Mamie" it was now Janus' turn to walk smugly with a beaming baby on his hip. A few minutes later Janus heard Patton shout lunch from the picnic blanket so he picked Virgil up from inside the swing, which had been adjusted to fit him. "You ready for some num nums baby?" Virgil looked up to Janus " 'irgil wants num nums mami!!" Virgil practically squealed " *chuckles* calm down darling we're here now" Janus sits virgil down onto Patton's lap "hey guys" Janus sits down on his knees as the others reply "hey kiddo, hey snakey, greetings Janus, Welcome back"
They all start tucking into the food talking amongst themselves occasionally cutting up food and feeding Virgil.
"Hey virge?" Thomas whispers to Virgil " eh 'Omas?" "Do you want some strawberries?" Virgil's head snaps up to look at Thomas " *gasps* 'el'am 'oves 'storbwewies" ( melman loves strawberries) Virgil starts looking around him getting more frantic then before catching the attention of the others. Roman picks up Virgil and holds him close rocking him has he continues to fuss and whine while tears start to go down his cheeks. "Hey, hey stormcloud, calm down what's up?" Virgil starts sobbing " 'el'am 'el'am!! I 'ant find 'EL'AM!!" Virgil starts screaming. "Kiddo calm down we'll find him, where did any of you last see it?" No one has an idea until Remus remembers something "the tunnel he was sitting in the tunnel with it!" Logan stands up while dusting him self of he walks over to Virgil and strokes his head "me Remus and Thomas can go over and check where it is you three try and calm him down" Thomas and Remus stand up and the three start heading to the park. Roman lays a screaming sobbing Virgil on the ground in the middle of the three of them " stormcloud were gonna need you to stop screaming" Roman tries to say but to no avail Virgil carries on "kiddo throwing a tantrum won't get us anywhere" Patton says much more sternly but it does nothing , Janus finally had enough " Virgil. Anxiety. Sanders look at me right now!" Virgil's head immediately snaps towards Janus as he stops screaming "you will stop this tantrum this instant or I swear we'll leave right now and forget and melman!!" Everything went silent after that Virgil stared directly at Janus moving backwards away from him. "Janus you can't say that to him" Patton said in a shocked tone. Janus finally realised what he said and turned to face Virgil who was backing away from him "no no no darling I didn't mean it, can you come here please?" Virgil shook his head quickly and turned to face Roman burying his face into his chest sobbing so Roman put his pacifier in and just rocked him.
Meanwhile with the others
"Are you sure you last saw it in the tunnel Remus?" "Yes I'm sure thommy~" they all stopped at the construction thing. "So who's climbing up "I've already done it too many times today one of you two can" Thomas and Logan face each other. "Not it!, my apologies Virgil does that so I took a guess it was for situations like this" Thomas sluggishly brings himself to the climbing frame "uuughh I hate climbing" after climbing and checking in the tunnel "a-ha it's here I got him" "yaaay I was right!!" After climbing down they made there way to the picnic blanket, shocked by the scene that was presented in front of them
Sorry this took so long to get out, school has not been an easy start as well as family issues. Remember don't be afraid to comment down ideas down for chapters.
