𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕖𝕕 𝕃𝕠𝕧𝕖 { ℍ𝕒𝕚𝕜𝕪𝕦𝕦 𝕩 ℝ𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕣}

Prologue

In an early winter in January You're a news reporter looking for a new story. You're stumped on what you should write about before your boss fires you.

You're walking home with your sister Hitoka Yachi after a long day. She notices that you're stressed and says something about it.

Yachi
"What's wrong Y/N?"

You're greatly annoyed, you didn't even hear what Yachi said. You sighed and kept walking with your head down. You started to walk faster than her. Yachi runs in front of you and stops you in your tracks.

You
"HITOKA GET OUT OF MY WAY!"

Yachi
"NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG!"

You glare at your sister with dead scary eyes. She trembles and jumps back. You both pause for a moment. You feel a snowflake fall on your left eyelash, you look up and hold your hand out. Yachi screams

Yachi
"AAAA I'M SORRY Y/N I DIDN'T MEAN TO YELL AT YOU I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG IM SORRY IM SO SORRY!!!"😰

You
"Let's just get home Hitoka, I don't like the cold."

Yachi

"oh ok~"

You both walk in silence for a moment until you start to speak.

You
"Hitoka-"

Yachi
"huh?"

You
"You wanted to know why I was upset well- It's about my job..."

Yachi
"Y-Your job? But I thought you liked being a news reporter."

You
"It's not about that, it's just- If I don't get a good story soon I'm screwed."

You and Yachi stand in front of the house. You glance at her and slowly walk up the stairs.

Yachi
"Wait Y/N-"

You turn back

You
"Hm- what is it?"

Yachi balls her hands in a fist seemingly confident on what she's gonna say.

Yachi
"I THINK YOU SHOULD WRITE A STORY ABOUT KURASUNO'S VOLLEY TEAM!!!!"

You stare blankly, what a dumb thing for your dumb sister to say. Write a story for those wingless crows? You'll be fired for sure.

You
"Why would I want to write a story about a bunch of wingless crows? I remember that game they had in the past, they really choked then."

Yachi
"WAAAAAAAAAAA-
THEY ARE NOT WINGLESS CROWS ANYMORE THEY'VE GAINED THEIR WINGS BACK I'LL PROVE IT!"

You
"Yeah right, what am I gonna do if this doesn't work out?"

Yachi
"I PROMISE YOU Y/N IT WILL WORK OUT AND YOU WILL GET YOUR STORY!"

You
"I- I guess it's better than sulking. Fine I'll transfer to Kurasuno high so it'll be easier."

Yachi
"GREAT I CAN'T WAIT!!!" 😊

You both walk in the house, you're relived but also worried. Will this go as planned or will you have to give up your job as a reporter.
