VIII. Dark red trees

Rinna recognized Brenda, she was checking in the students as usual, and although she no longer needs to confirm her assistance like everyone else because she is the supervisor, Rinna decided to approach her.

- Good morning, Rovere.
- Good morning, Rinna. What brings you here?
- I followed your advice to go visit the temple, it really is a beautiful place ...
- You're right, I told you you'd like it, I can see that adventurous spirit in you.  Too bad I no longer visit the temple, I have no idea what it looks like now ...
-Why don't you visit today?
- Why ...- Brenda was thinking as she sighed - I can't.
- Oh right, you must control the attendance.
- Y- yeah, that ...

Rinna noticed some discomfort in Brenda, as if the memories had played a trick on her.  She didn't want to ask anything, however, as Brenda looked away, she said in a brittle voice:
- Akane liked to go to the temple - while she sighed and closed her eyes as if she was holding something back - I suppose it is something common for the supervisors ...- while she smiled slightly.
- It's that the sunset is clearly visible there, we should visit it ... if you want ... - Rinna said lowering her voice when she realized that something was not right with Brenda.
- Oh, sorry for the serious face, I just remembered something ... uh, go to the temple?  Well, you are the supervisor, if you invite me I should accept!
- This afternoon?
- Yes, I think it would be great - as she returned a smile.
- Well then!

Rinna decided to walk away thinking of Brenda, the way she lost her composure when she remembered Akane, the diary entry that mentioned her and all that. Were they friends?  Has Akane committed such a loss of dignity that it hurts Brenda to remember her?

In that short tour, Rinna noticed a girl a little lost and worried, therefore she decided to approach her.
- Hello, everything okay?
-Hello supervisor! Eh... yes.
-Oh well, if you need anything, just let me know- As she turned around to go back to the institute.
-No, wait!- The Redhead girl said, catching Rinna's attention.
- I ... I think I do need something.
- Go ahead, what do you need?
- Yesterday I lost ... something in the bathroom- blushing deeply - and today is the day where I need it more than ever, I don't have time to buy it somewhere in town, and the janitors decided to clausure the bathroom, I don't know  what to do.
- Could you give me a little more information?
- Hey, you already know what I'm talking about, right?  I forgot it in the last cubicle of the bathroom on the second floor.
- Oh good, then I'll try to deliver it to you as quickly as possible.
- Thank you very much, supervisor.

Rinna went to the bathroom to look for the item and after about five minutes, she found it. She rushed out of the bathroom to give the girl what she needed and to finally be able to do what lay ahead.  Walking through the corridors, she found her:
- Hello, Aniyama.  I think this is what you lost in the bathroom.
- Oh yeah, exactly that.  Thank you supervisor, I really needed it, you are my life savior ...
- There is no reason, it is my duty, do not be late for class!

After that, Rinna hurried to her living room to drop off her bag and to organize her locker as it was a thing that she had to accomplish quickly.
