Yaku's POV:
I suddenly realized.
Okay, I did like Lev.
Maybe too much.
But hey, he liked me. So.. it was fine. He did just, well, kiss me.
I snapped back into reality as Lev blushed madly and sat up. I sat there, shocked but not upset. I could feel my blood heating up and rushing to my face. I turned my head away,
"I like you too, you big idiot."

Lev's POV:

"Wait, what..? I didn't-"I looked down at Yaku. He looked back at me with a sort of sad look. "Oh, wait I didn't mean-" I tried to say as Yaku pushed me off of him. He jumped up off the couch, as I landed abruptly on the floor. "Your so stupid!" He shouted, tears welling his eyes. "I knew it was a joke! You don't actually like me! Your just a big useless jerk!
Kill yourself already!"
Yaku screamed as he rushed to the door. He yanked it open and ran outside, slamming the door hard behind him.

Lev's POV:

Huh. Those words were familiar.
"Kill yourself already."
My mother had said those words to me. Since Yaku hates me, I don't have much reason to live. I honestly live for Yaku, even if he ignored me or yelled at me. I'd still do anything for him.
But he didn't need me anymore. So why... why am I sitting here, on the floor wasting time. Who cares if he doesn't need me, it was almost nighttime. It's dangerous in this neighborhood, especially at night.

Yaku's POV:
I ran outside and slammed the door shut. My tears burned my face like acid, I didn't care. He lied. He lied to me. I threw myself down the street and ran down the sidewalk. I didn't care. I kept running. Eventually, I slowed down, shuddering because of the cold night air. I stopped under a street lamp and leaned against the pole, breathing heavily. "Hey there." Somebody said. "I jerked my head up to see a tall stranger with black hair and a pocketed hand.

"So, Whatcha doin out here alone? It's dangerous, you know." The stranger said in a cold, sharp tone. I knew exactly what he was planning. He had a pocketed knife, and was trying to kidnap me. Good thing I'd had taken those self-defense classes, or else I'd had been toast right about now.

"Hello." I said, backing away. "Aw, don't be shy. I'm friendly." He pulled out a knife from his pocketed hand. "If you'll cooperate, of course."

I screamed, that was my first tactic. "Er, shush! Shut up! Shut up idiot!" He screamed as he rushed over to me and punched me in the face. Tears poured out of my eyes, blood starting dripping down from my nose. My last chance at survival. I had one idea.
"LEV!"

Lev's POV :
I ran as fast as possible down the side walk. I couldn't breathe, I honestly don't think I was breathing anymore.
It didn't matter, though. Yaku was lost, and at nighttime, for sakes. The sharp night air swallowed me whole, but I kept running.
"LEV!"
I ran even faster, now turning a corner to see Yaku and a taller man, holding something. I ran faster, but quieter. Yaku hadn't seen me yet, which would come to my advantage. I snuck behind the man towering over Yaku. That's when I realized. He had a knife. I threw my arms around the mans neck and tossed my phone to Yaku. "Call 911, now!" I shouted. Yaku caught the phone and immediately dialed 911.

I twisted my arms around his neck, the man gasping for air. He'd most likely pass out soon. But my hand slipped, I let go. The man threw his arm backwards, and pushed his knife into my shoulder. Screaming in pain, I grabbed his neck again, and punched him with my last ounce of strength. Tears fought my eyes, and I screamed in agony. My eyes closed. My shoulder was on what seemed like fire. It was all a blur what happened next.
