(but i'm not stopping you from reading fan fiction instead) alright, now to the story.

chapter 1:
*third person*
It was the day you head to Hogwarts. You woke up early that day to Hermione quietly getting everybody up. You're staying at the Weasley's, as you do every summer. You get ready quickly, but still making sure everything was perfect. You put on a very muggly outfit. Jeans and a shirt. I mean, are there really like wizardy clothes? Other than robes and such? Anyways, let's continue.
You put on light makeup, curl your hair, and head down to Platform 9 3/4. Although your parents were both magical, you have a lot of muggle things, like headphones. A phone as well. You just made sure not to put anything out about magic or wizardry. Hermione always knew about things like this, but Ron was excited to find out about muggle items.
You sit down on the Hogwarts Express with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny. Ginny and Harry were all over each other (they're together) but you let them be and didn't pay much attention. You get chocolate frogs and other sweets and prepare for a very long train ride. You let everyone listen to your music on the way down, and tell them about muggle things, with the help of Hermione. (She's better at explaining haha)
When you arrive at Hogwarts you head to the Great Hall. (Nobody that will be important in this story is getting sorted, so we'll skip to after that.) During the feast, you notice Draco Malfoy staring at you. THE Draco Malfoy. I mean, don't get me wrong he's hot. Like really hot, but he was so rude to you and your friends. But still he was undeniably hot, and there was no way of hiding that you felt that way. This became more obvious when Hermione said,
"Stop staring at him Y/N. There's no use. He's rude anyways."
"You're right."
You fix your focus back on the conversation between your friends that you weren't even aware was going on, but whatever. You look back at Slytherins and see Blaise walking over to you. You freeze.

*first person*
Uh oh. What does he need. We never talk. But he's surely nice than Malfoy. So it can't be THAT bad. Unless it has to do with Draco- Malfoy. Malfoy.
"Hey Y/N."
"Hey Blaise." I replied, a bit of hesitation in my voice.
He looked at everyone I was sitting with, drawing their attention. Now everyone was listening. He did that on purpose, whatever.
"If you're done staring at Draco now, there's a party tonight. Slytherin common room. You going? Any of you?"
We all just nodded. I said yes after a moment. God, this was gonna suck. I never went to parties. Me and Hermione are pretty much the same person. Studying. Working on myself. Not really boys or parties. I mean hey. It could be fun. Dra- Malfoy. Oh I give up. Draco would be there. Maybe I could dress to- No. I'll dress nice for myself, and maybe he'll like my outfit too.
After dinner, we all head up to our common rooms. I had to part ways with them so I waited for Blaise and walked up with him. We weren't really friends, but he was nice and split with Draco to walk with me. After we got there, I headed up to the girls' dorms and layed on my bed for a few minutes. Pansy came barging in, insisting I did her hair and in return she would style me. I hated dresses, but agreed.
