Chapter One
The Skullcandy headphones on Oliver's head blasted the song Radioactive into his ears as he sat in the very last seat on the left side of Samson HighSchool bus 99. As the ninth graders in the front seat were occupied with finishing the assigned homework for that day, the tenth and eleventh grade girls were gossiping about who was going to take them to the end-of-the school year dancers. The boys were messing around as always; however, Oliver did not want to be a part of what he thought was foolish behavior. He listened to his music until bus 99 came to a quick stop at Samson High, home of the Lions. The ninth graders groaned showing that they had not finished their homework in time. Oliver took off his headphones and sighed; his period of peace was over. He grabbed his book bag and walked off bus 99 with the same serious look on his face that he had almost every day. He walked slowly to the front of the school where most of the students waited before they could go to their lockers. He set his book bag down on one of the benches the school had provided for the students. He checked his book bag for his water bottle when two arms wrapped around him from behind and hugged him. A bright blush filled his face as the girls around him giggled and whispered amongst themselves. A tall figure with black hair and blue eyes hovered over him. Oliver felt a breath close to his ear that sent shivers up his back.
"Hi, Oli." The person, Mike Will said as he hugged Oliver tighter.
"Mikey." Oliver's face got even more red. "Mikey, could you please...not here?"
"Why not?" Mike breathed onto Oliver's neck as he rested his head on his shoulder.
"Please...people are looking, nhh." He felt Mike's warm breath get closer to his neck.
"Let 'em look." Mike softly pressed his lips against Oliver's neck.
"Nhhm."
Oliver closed his eyes not to see the reactions of his fellow students watching him, but the sound of the girls' awhs and of some of boys remarks was enough to tell what was going on. Oliver felt a smirk on his neck and a hot breath against his sensitive skin. Mike let go of him and strode off leaving Oliver standing there slightly embarrassed by Mike who clearly took advantage of him, but Oliver brushed it off, grabbed his book bag, and tried to walk into school as if nothing had happened.
Oliver went to his locker and got ready for the school day; Leslie, Mike's twin brother, had a locker right next to him. Leslie walked over to Oliver whose face was still as red as a berry.
"Hey, Oliver." Leslie gave him a pat on the back almost knocking off his balance.
"Hi."
"How are you?"
"Good."
"Not very talkative this morning I see."
"I guess."
"Hm, well. That's all right. I will see you later."
"Yeah."
Leslie knew just as well what had happened as Oliver did, but he couldn't stop his brother from being so overpowering as he was. Leslie, on the other hand, was a very calm and laid back person. His dark brown hair and brown eyes matched his simple character, and his glasses tied together his smart personality. Leslie was on his way to his first class, chemistry. He walked into the chemistry lab where he saw his best friend, Crystal Stevens, was already setting up for the day's lab. Her long black hair was put up in a ponytail, and she had safety goggles covering her bright blue eyes.
"Hi, Crystal." Leslie said shyly.
"Oh, hello Leslie. I presume you are ready for the examen de colour?" Crystal said while she got out the test tubes.
