Pinn (season 6, Regionals)

A/N, this is my first TNS fanfic, uploads may not be often because I handwrite my chapters before they go on Wattpad.

Finn's POV
After getting Emily's permission, I run backstage to help Piper -the girl of my dreams- through this. I see her sitting down, her head in between her knees. When Piper acknowledges me, she asks me in the most panicked way, "Finn, why are you here?" As I hear this, I pull a brave face and say, "Pipes, it's ok." And I get down to her level

Piper's POV
I am in my position- curled into a ball with my head in my knees, panicking when I see a tall figure running towards me. I make it out as Finn looks down at me I say (in what I believe is a panicked way based off of his face), "Finn, why are you here?". He pulls a brave face then says, "Pipes, it's ok.". After saying this, he gets down to my level which comforts me, for some reason. Am I developing feelings for Finn?

Finn's POV
When I get down to her level, I believe she's comforted because she says what she's worried about. She quickly says in a worried & rushed way, "Why? What if I fall in my aerial, we lose & everyone will hate me!". When she says that, it breaks my heart and I realise that this is worse than yesterday.

Piper's POV
When he does the gesture, I spill out what I'm worried about. "Why? What if I fall in my aerial, we lose & everyone will hate me!". When I tell him this, Finn pulls a face as though he's processing what I just told him. I'm still a ball with my head on between my knees, almost about to cry.

Finn's POV
There's a few second silence - during that, I process on what piper had just told me. I reassure her by reminding her of positive things, "I know you, I've seen your face after landing one in rehearsals. If you don't feel confident doing one on stage, do a cartwheel. If we lose, I won't hate you, I'll care for you & remember that I'm on the floor, in front of you, holding the rope up.". I am happily overwhelmed with her reply with being, "Thanks for cheering me up yesterday and." I cut her off with a kiss. Even though it was a peck, I felt something from it- love.

Piper's POV
A couple of seconds after I say what I'm anxious about, Finn reassures me by saying, "I know you, I've seen your face after landing it in rehearsals. If you don't feel confident doing one on stage, do a cartwheel. If we lose, I won't hate you, I'll care for you & remember that I'm on the floor, in front of you, holding the rope up.". This comforts me from the stress of the routine. I thank Finn for comforting me yesterday but I'm cut off by him kissing me. This was my first kiss. After this, I realise something, I like Finn. Since prom, I've liked him.

Finn's POV
A few seconds after I kiss piper, we spot Emily. We share the WTH face & I'm thinking to myself, "Oh crap, did she see pipes and I making out?". Emily acknowledges us, then reminds us that we're due to perform in 2 minutes. Hopefully, she didn't see anything.

Piper's POV
A few seconds after we kiss, there's this comfortable silence until we spot Emily and share the WTH face. As she approaches us, I'm thinking, "Please, Please, she didn't see us doing 'IT'!". Emily acknowledges us then says that we're due to perform in 2 minutes. Please say that she didn't see anything!

AFTER THE REGIONALS WIN

Piper's POV
After we win regionals and the audience had cleared, I get a text from Finn, telling me to meet him in the auditorium. He gestures to me to come on stage. He confidently speaks to me by saying, "As you fell in a dance, to hopefully rebuild your confidence, let's dance." then he begins to play alive. We end our faces inches apart. I turn to walk off stage to get the rest of my stuff when Finn, (my crush & former celeb crush from when I was 5) grabs my hand then kisses me. It was a long yet passionate kiss.

Finn's POV
After we win regionals, I text pipes to meet me in the auditorium. When she arrives, I tell her," As you fell in a dance, to hopefully rebuild your confidence, let's dance.". I then begin to play alive & we end our faces inches apart. Piper begins to walk off stage when I experience a rush of adrenaline. I grab her hand then begin to kiss her. The kiss was slow and passionate.

After the kiss, I ask her," Piper, will you be the girlfriend of the Fruity Moons kid?". She immediately accepts. A-troupe then congratulates us. Ozzy, Henry and Kingston then begin to chant, "PINN! PINN! PINN!". When it dies down, Michelle comes and tells us that the bus is going to be here in 30 minutes. We go off and get the rest of our stuff.

Piper's POV
After the kiss, Finn asks me in the cutest way, "Piper, will you be the girlfriend of the Fruity Moons kid?". I immediately accept. Out of nowhere, A-troupe then congratulates us. Next thing you know, Ozzy, Henry and Kingston begin to chant, "PINN! PINN! PINN!". When it dies down, Michelle comes and tells the team that the bus is going to be here in 30 minutes. We then decide to go off and get the rest of our stuff.

When we're on the coach back, everyone is either asleep or on their phones along with Ozzy & Kingston whisper-chanting, "Pinn! Pinn! Pinn!". I fall asleep with my head on Finn's shoulder and his arms around me. The best thing ever!

Finn's POV
On the bus back, everyone is being rather chill. The only talking was Ozzy & Kingston whisper-chanting, "Pinn! Pinn! Pinn!" which they've been doing non-stop since pipes and I got together. I'm sleeping with Piper's head on my shoulder and my arms wrapped around her. I love my girlfriend.

A/N (again) Word count except for the A/N- 1020 words

When I finished up writing this in a notebook, it was around midnight. I was nearly done when a new chapter of The Next Step Short Stories by @tnsfangirlscollab so I read that then finished this up

In my notebook, this chapter took up 6 1/2 A5 pages
