Chapter One

'Julie!' I shouted wa'll I bursted out of the car. 'Kate!' she roared as she thundered out her front door. We hugged 'i have not seen you in so long' I said. It had been like 3 years since I seen her. Well more like 2 but it does not make much of a difference 'what have you been doing all through the summers?' she said with excitement 'I went to an amusement park last summer and the summer before that I went to disney and then I went to a water park, what have you been doing?' Julie had suddenly had a sad face on her. 'I did nothing but math because I had to catch up.' she said unexcitedly. I actually felt kinda bad for her. I know what it is like to do math all summer. 'Well... at least it's not summer anymore and you're with me.' I said wall I beamed at her. All of a sudden I heard a loud thundery noise that sounded like.... shoot the bus is here I thought unhappily. I tried to seem excited when the bus came. 'Hey look the bus!' I roared with fake excitement. She kinda realized I was doing fake excitement 'you don't have to say something excitedly when you're not excited at all' she said. I wasn't very happy when she said that. We hopped on the bus she went to the back. I always sat in the front with her but she did not want to. We finally arrived at school. I got off the bus. I waited for Julie to get off the bus. She got off the bus. I said 'see you in science.' she did not respond. She walked off like I wasn't there. I thought: wow I never knew math for two summers was that bad. I walked to math. Then after an hour math class was done. I ran to science. I saw Julie talking to her other friend. 'Hey Julie!' I shouted when I ran to her. She ignored me. I sat next to her. She kept blabbering to her friend. I taped on her. 'Hello?' I said. She looked at me and said. 'Don't interrupt me.' she turned to her friend again. I turned around when my teacher said 'alrighty class welcome back!' she shouted. Every buddy turned around 'good morning Mrs. huckleberry!' the class shouted. 10 minutes passed. It was soooo boring. After class I did all my periods. The bus came. The bus driver honked the bus 'hop on kids!' I have shouted as I have pulled up. I ran on to the back to see what Julie would do. She went to the back and stared at me. She said 'move to the front.' I didn't budge. She pushed me. She said it again. I still didn't budge. The bus starts moving fast. Faster than any bus could go. Julie was standing. When he went fourward, Julie banged her head on the hot steamy hard metal part of the bus. She did not move. The bus driver stopped. Then went forward again then faster, faster, faster, and faster until he crashed. BOOM! The bus was crushed and Julie had no room to breathe. I got up as quick as I could go but I was stuck. I tried to reach Julie. My arm was not long enough. I pulled and pulled. Then I got dizzy and then ... flop. I fell on the cushion of the chair in the bus. Then I woke up after a couple of hours. I was in the hospital holding my Julie's hand. We woke up at the same time. We looked at each other with a beam on our faces. We both said at the same time 'I am glad you're alive.' The doctor came in and said 'glad you're awake girls!' we looked at her. The bus was crushed and Julie had no room to breathe. I got up as quick as I could go but I was stuck. I tried to reach Julie.
