Hajin knew he was debuting soon, he just didn't know he would be joining a group that already existed and who was loved by the world. The way news broke out about Hajin being added to BTS was definitely a jaw opener and something he never thought he would hear. He was one of the oldest trainees but never brought his spirits down, it only made him want to help the younger trainees with whatever he could.
"Hyung, we made this for you." Jiwoo, one of the younger trainees, spoke while handing Hajin a small photo book. The title had Hajin's name made out of stickers and a photo that was taken during his birthday with all of the trainees.
Wiping his tear, Hajin thanked the trainees before opening his arms for a group hug. It was the day Hajin was moving into the dorm where BTS was staying at and he was more than afraid. As much as he would love to stay with the trainees, it was finally time for him to say goodbye and open up a new page in his life.
Hajin followed BTS's manager to the dorm as he explained a few housekeeping rules that were established. Despite hearing the manager telling him that everything was going to be fine, Hajin was more than terrified to meet the gentlemen who were making history.
"Is it too late to pursue being a model?" Hajin nervously chuckled when the manager knocked on the door.
"You'll be fine, I have a feeling you'll fit just right in." The manager smiled as he knocked one more time before unlocking the door with his own key.
Furrowing his eyebrows, Hajin followed after the manager where he was greeted with BTS standing in a line with a banner hanging saying 'WELCOME HAJIN!'. The group did their introductions as the manager even hopped in and introduced himself.
Blinking a few times, Hajin quickly bowed while stuttering out his own introduction. The awkward tension in the dorm lingered for as long as it could until Namjoon broke the silence. "Well, to get things started, you will be dorming with me." Namjoon smiled as he offered Hajin a hand with his luggage.
The taller followed behind Namjoon while listening to the same housekeeping rules the manager told Hajin earlier. The room was a decent size that had beds at each end of the room. Placing his luggage on the pure white bedsheets, Hajin nearly had a heartattack when he heard his name being yelled from in the living room.
"Since we're all here, let's have a welcoming party!" Hoseok cheered while wrapping his arm around Hajin's shoulders.
Smiling at the warmth, the concerns and worriness Hajin once felt was no longer there. Maybe being with the group won't be that bad after all.
