By the time you where 5 you knew something wasn't right with that orphanage. It was kinda confusing how you made really good friends but every time they got adopted they never send any letters or pictures like they said they would. The only one what Stayed was the kid named ray. Every time someone would make fun of you or even say something that you didn't like, ray would always defend you. As you two grew up you noticed he started to act different. You started to worry when he stopped playing hide in go seek with everyone and just keep track or time as he read a book. Not to long after you got bored and stopped playing as well and spent you days on the roof. Years went by and you where 9-10 by this time. It was night time and you weren't sleepy so you snuck out to the roof. You where looking at the stars when you hear someone behind you. You get scared and try to stay silent. You thought they left but then you fell someone tap your shoulder. You jump back and fall hard oh you bottom. You slowly look up scared it was mom. You meet eyes with ray and see there holding his hand out for you. You grab it as you sigh. "Why are you out here alone at night"ray asked you. "I don't know i just wasn't sleepy thats all" you a answer him shyly. You sit back down and ray sits next to you. "You do now mom will be mad if she finds out right" you nod your head "but who said she will find out" you say back. He gives you a smirk. "Do you like it here" he asks you. "Im not sure....i mean i love mom but i kinda want to see the out side world" you answer and you look at the stars. Ray lets out a small sigh. "Well we should get back inside it's getting late" you get up and start to walk back without saying anything to ray. You walking down the hall when you hear a powerful kinda mad voice behind you. You already knew it was mom so you turn around and look down at the floor. You could hear her foot steps getting closer and closer till you could see her shoes. She lifted you head to look at her. "What where you doing out there" she asked you. "I-i was looking at the stars i-im sorry" you say in a scared voice. You could feel another pare of eyes looking at you so you look around and see ray in the corner behind mom. You see he started to walk up behind her. Her where trying to say stop but he wasn't looking or paying attention. Ray gets up to her a tugs on her shirt. Mom turn around slowly and look at him "what's wrong dear" she asked him in a soft and kind voice. "Y/n was out there cus i asked them to meet with me." He tells mom. Mom looks at him and says "o-oh well what where you two talking abou-." She was stoped by ray as he said "can we just go to bed." Mom nodes her head. Ray goes two you and grabs your hand and started walking away from mom. He stopped and he took you inside a empty room. "W-why did you-." Ray cuts you off. "Be more careful, trust me that last person you want finding out that you sneak out is mom now go back to your room but be more quiet would you" he says jokingly. You giggle a bit "ok goodnight ray" you start to walk back. You open the door and are about to lay down when you hear someone say your name softly. You look behind you and see Emma. This scared you a hit so you jump back a bit "Emma why are you awake" you asked her. "O-oh i just heard you walking in so i woke up... the better question is where did you go" you tell her you where on the roof again and she tells you to stop cus you can get in trouble (But of course you don't listen) next morning comes and you hear someone telling you to wake up. You get up and get ready for the day. (author note- i don't know what im doing but enjoy the picture)
