Marinette

I held Melody close to my chest, as she slept in my arms. Damians arm wrapped around my waist. Jagged tackled Bruce to the ground and I couldn't help but chuckle at his antics. I slowly rocked the sleeping child in my arms, doing my best not to cry.
"You have the craziest family. You'll have more crazy then you know what to do with. I thought I had crazy, but you'll have me and your uncles Jason and Dick to make it so much worse. And your aunt Mar'i will be there too." I whispered.
Her small tuff of Purple hair moved as Melody shifted in her sleep.
"Marinette?" I looked up to see my Penny slowly looking around. "What's going on?" She asked.
I smiled and walked over to her. "You we're losing blood, so they had to do a C-section. I'm so glad your ok." I whispered as I sat in the chair next to her.
"Is that-?"
I nodded and gently handed Melody to Penny. "Your baby girl." I whispered. "Jagged is with Bruce, catching up." I said with a smile. "Chloé and I have to go. We were suppose to be at a tour, but then we got the call, so we have to go." I said a little defeated.
"Ok. I'm glad you came. And Melody is happy you came too." Penny chuckled.
I laughed before giving her a small kiss on their heads and leaving.

Chloé and I made it to the museum and found them in the hall of villains. Only problem was, they weren't statues.
"Hello Frenchies, you will all hand over your valuables before I kill you all. Reason? I'm crazy." Joker said with a cackle.
Chloé grabbed my hand, trying to prevent myself from doing something stupid. So I stood there and watched as a goon walked around grabbing wallets, necklaces, watches, and anything shiny. But I kept my eyes on Joker. He was watching someone in the crowd. I looked around before spotting a small girl, with blond hair, and brown eyes.
No. Please no.
My silent pleas weren't heard. For joker rushed over, grabbed the girl and drug her into the middle of the room. He pulled his gun out and pointed it at the girl. Where the hell was Damian and his Family?!
"Now, little girl, your going to answer some questions. If I like the answer I'll let you live, if now—" he waved the gun around, and the girl shuddered. A goon came up behind her and held her arms. Chloé was shaking my arm slightly, reminding me to stay quiet.
"Do you know how I got these scars?" Joker asked, pointing to his mouth. My hand slowly reached into my purse and I grasped the but of the hand gun I bought. Don't ask how I got it past security, I just did.
The little girl shook her head, tears fell from her eyes, her body shaking with sobs.
"Well, my wife said I should smile more, so I put a blade in my mouth and swished it around my mouth, before showing her. She cried and left me." Joker said with a malicious grin. "I also don't like your answer. He pushed the gun to the girls head and I didn't stop this time. I shoved Chloé away and raced towards the girl.
"Wait! Wait wait wait wait! Shoot me! Go ahead! But you leave her alone." I said as I shoved myself between the girl and gun. "Mr. Joker why do you kill people?" I asked a question, not letting him ask one to me. Or to demand I move.
"Well, I'm crazy, and I was wronged more then once." He said pointing the gun at my head.
"Did a kid wrong you, mr. Joker?" I asked
He shook his head. "So your going to kill a kid that's done nothing wrong. How absurd is that?! Your a bad guy and your going to kill kids and walk around looking like that! Let me tell you something Joker, green on green is NEVER in SEASON! Black on green? Sure. Green and white. maybe. But your a walking fashion disaster! If your so healed bend on killing, kill the people that deserve it. Traffickers, harassers, robbers! NOT CHILDREN!!!" I huffed and glared at the walking jerk. My head was hurting from the yelling, and screaming.
By the look on Jokers face he wasn't expecting to get yelled at by a teenager. He did a sharp whistle before running out the back door. I little girl was latching onto my leg and shaking violently. I picked her up and rocked her back and forth.
"It's ok. Everything is ok." I whispered.
"I want my mommy." She cried quietly.
"Where is she?" I asked and looked around the room and saw a frantic looking blond with blue eyes, not Chloé, and headed over to her. "Excuse me, is this your daughter?" I asked her.
"Mandy?" She asked
The girl shot up and jumped into her mothers arms. I smiled before walking away.

When I got outside I was dragged behind the building by Robin and he furiously checked me over. I let him get his fill before I pulled him into a hug. His face buried in the crook of my neck.
"Why did you do that?" He asked
"It got him to go away didn't it?" I shot back. I know he's worried, but I would rather it be me then the little girl.
Robin pulled back and looked me in the eyes. He sighed before slamming his lips into mine. I could feel the fear radiating off him.
"I'm ok, Robin. I promise." I said as I pulled back.
"You really scared me in there Midnight."
"I know, and I'm sorry I scared you, but I wasn't going to let him kill a little girl when I could try something to prevent it." I whispered, bringing my hand up to cup his cheek. Gently rubbing my thumb on his cheek bone. "You know better then anyone, I had to do something."
He sighed, leaned into my hand, before kissing my wrist.
"Come on, you need to give a statement before going back to the manor." He said quietly.
And when we got back to the manor, he didn't leave my side.
