PROLOGUE

[SOMEWHERE IN THE PARADISE OUTSKIRTS]

The sky was starting to darken over the Old expressway which is still being used after the Skyfall incident 20 years ago, Many refugees still kept using it even if its full of bandits and unknown predators lingering all over the place just in order to reach one of the largest safe zone in the Philippines, The Former capital of the country, Manila, which is now called "PARADISE" by its inhabitants.

 A man suddenly woke up from darkness that day, He wears a former Scout Ranger uniform, upon standing up he was shocked on what he saw, Ruins,wreckage and corpses all over the place, He thought he was just having a nightmare and he tried to wake up from it, but... fear travelled through his veins when he knew it was real,

"Where the hell, I'am?" he said while looking his surroundings

then he heard vehicles getting near to him from behind, then... it stopped, It was a military convoy, soldiers started getting out of the vehicles, He tried to sneaking up on them, unluckily a mutant jumped and pounced him down trying to chew him down, He then Grabbed his pistol, after that... Gunshots, another one was about to attack him when someone shot it,

"A sniper rifle!?" he said,

He then stood up, saw some of soldiers advancing towards him armed, He tried to run away from the them but he stumbled and fell down to the road, he was about to shoot one of the soldiers advancing on him when someone kicked the pistol away on his hand and pointed a gun to him

"Not so fast, tough guy" the man said pointing his HK416 on his forehead

Then someone shouted

"Don't shoot him private, that's him, that's the the guy we're looking for" a man said wearing a trench coat with a Insignia of  AFP with the Letters M.O.D "Sgt. Maiza, nice to meet you Cpl. Madrigal" The Sgt said then he reached out a hand to him

"Thanks....Sarge, so absolutely where I'am and how did I end up here?" Fino said after he stood up

"Welcome to the 2037 Private, if you're asking for the place precisely right now we're near over the gate 1 of the paradise, kid" The Sergeant said while he fixes his gloves

Fino then looked to his surroundings again

"How you got here is classified, so let's go back to the base and fix you up then we're gonna have a little talk with you after that", "Ok boys! Pack-up, we're going home, so Move it!" the Sgt said while he walks back with Fino towards the convoy.

Rain started pouring down after Fino got into the vehicle, He still didn't know what was happening around him and who are those people who picked him up, He was still confused on how did he manage to get there, one thing is only sure for him and that was his name Fino.

After driving for a while towards gate 1, the convoy took a sudden left turn away from the entrance

"H-hey, why did you just take a left turn? the gate was just straight ahead the road" Fino asked confusingly

"We're just taking orders kid, nothing personal just orders" the Sgt said then he cocked his gun,

Fino knew he was in deep trouble when he noticed the Sgt cocked his Handgun, The Sgt was about to aim and shoot Fino in the head when suddenly... CRASSSH!... A military truck rammed towards the vehicle in front of them crushing and killing everyone inside, then a small group of armed people got off from it they also threw some tear gas on them and a firefight started after that.

Fino then managed to grab one of the pistols on the soldier on his right and started shooting him, after that he jumped off the vehicle, upon getting off the vehicle Fino had a hard time breathing then some of the soldier on the last vehicle saw him and started shooting on the ground, He returned fire killing two of them, After that gunship escorting another helo passed towards him, He knew something was wrong when the convoy took a left turn but he still didn't know why they did that and what are their intentions to him,  he was in the middle of an ambush between two forces unfamiliar to him.

The Sgt earlier manage to get out of the Vehicle unharmed, he then aimed the gun to Fino when he saw him lying on the ground , the Sgt was about to Shoot Fino when someone shot him in the head from the back, the dead body of Sgt falls in front of Fino after that a Group circled him, He then started choking and lost consciousness because of the tear gas.
