Envy is like a termite that destroys everything. In a community, we can see it in different colors and forms. It's just like gossips who do nothing but criticize their neighbors and comment nonsense but are actually jealous because of the good they see in others.
Harry woke up early. He was alone in the rented small apartment because his only family, his father, Karding, was in the province. Harry was still young when his mother died, so when his father remarried he did not stop him. He had two children with Celia, Ricky, a teenager, and Bella, a teenager.
He did not tell anyone about his father. He has no regular communication with them. He did not want to write to his father or even to his siblings. He does not let them know where he lives. He only goes home to the province, and it even happens if there is no occasion because he avoids involving his family in any problem because of his job.
This is probably in exchange for his loyalty to his service. But for him, honest and corrupt Police are just the same, they need to protect their own family. So for him, why would he choose the wrong path.
He does not care what others say because for him the dignity and principles of a police officer like him are even more important.
It took aback Harry when he heard a car parked opposite his tenant. He became alert. He held his gun and at any moment he was ready to use it on anyone who attempted to attack him. He opened the door when he heard a knock ...
"Hey easy, it's just me" Daniel raised his hand.
"It's you" Harry sighed.
I was going to the precinct, so I thought I would just pass you by, and we were just one way.
"Come in first," Harry said.
Daniel sat on the sofa.
"Why don't you just get married so that someone can take care of you?"
"I don't have that in mind yet," Harry replied.
Daniel was the only companion he could trust, even before they got together he knew he was a good man because Daniel came from a family of good soldiers who were loyal to the service, and besides being rich, he knew that like him he was also faithful to duty.
"Do you want coffee?" Harry offered.
"Don't, let's just have coffee in the canteen," said Daniel.
"OK go ahead," Harry said.
"But you are in charged," Daniel replied.
"Oh, to all the rich, you are stingy," Harry said, laughing.
They just laughed as they went out of Harry's apartment.
The two stayed in the Canteen. It is still early for their duty.
Daniel ordered coffee and ham sandwiches for the two of them.
"Luckily for me today, apart from the fact that it freed me from the fare, there is also free breakfast, hopefully all!"
Harry joked with his friend.
"It's worth paying, so you owe me," Daniel replied, laughing.
"Can I just pay every salary?" he said as he rode.
They both just laughed...
Then Daniel mentioned he was selling his wife's car because he bought a new one.
"Maybe you want to buy?" Daniel's offer.
"Oh, that costs money," he said.
"You can just pay the down payment first, then just pay the others for each salary," Daniel suggested.
Harry thought for a second.
"All right, I'll take it. I will pay a half down payment then the rest. I'll just pay it slowly if it's ok with your wife?" Harry replied.
"No Problem, we are buddies," Daniel said, smiling.

"Good Morning everyone!" Ava greeted happily as she entered Marciano's large office. Everyone looked at her. She is Ava Gonzales, beautiful, smart, tender, and combative. She is Marciano's favorite goddaughter.
Ava kissed her godfather on the cheek.
"Sit down. "Ava sat to Marciano's right.
"Am I late?" she asked.
"No, you just arrived just right," Marciano said.
The twenty-two-year-old girl smiled and her natural beauty became even more apparent because of the large dimples on both cheeks and her even white teeth.
Marciano began speaking as President of the MM Group & Co. He introduced Ava as the new and youngest General Manager of the said company.
Everyone applauded except Dina, Marciano's niece. And Gustavo, who is Vice-President of MM Group & Co.
The meeting also lasted a bit. After that, everyone present greeted Ava one by one, except Dina and Gustavo.
When she and Dina met, the woman was obviously angry with her.
"Surprising, isn't it?" said Dina.
"Which is?" dead malicious question of the AVA
"You are just a recent graduate and new to this company but you are a General Manager right away." annoyance on Dina's face.
"Imagine, your position is even higher than mine who works for a few years here," she added.
"What I should surprise about, I graduated from a High Standard University and I still have a high honor, Summa Cum Laude. How about you?" Ava replied.
"I know I deserve this job," she added.
"Don't be too arrogant and not every day you are lucky," Dina replied irritably.
"I'm not bragging. You already know that I'm really smart and much better than you are!" sarcasm, especially by Ava.
Almost all of Dina's blood rushed to her head in a rage with the girl.
Until Dina enters her own office, her anger towards Ava still does not subside. Gustavo later entered his office.
"Did you see that woman, the thickness of her face!" his eyes almost flushed with rage.
"Calm down, Dina" Gustavo comforted.
"What calm down? We both know that eventually, she will manage this company and the Organization." That also crossed my mind. Dina, Marciano has a lot of confidence in the loyalty of her goddaughter, especially in her ability.
"And, will we just accept that she will manage the company and the organization effortlessly?" Do you think I'll allow that, Dina? NO! I will not allow others to come to you for me or me." If Marciano bequeaths to you, everything is OK with me, I am ready to serve you. And if it belongs to me, everything will still be yours. "
Dina swallowed when Gustavo squeezed her chin before leaving her office.
