Amalia POV

Today's the day!
Darcy and I are on our way to the competition. We said we would meet the sway boys as well as Addison and Avani there.
It's a 30 minutes drive so we listen to some music.
"SO WHAT IM BROKEN..." we both scream as Jadens song bangs through the speakers.
We just love it! And we are suuuuuper exited for his new album...well his first. Jaden even allowed Darcy to have a sneak peek of it and if I tell you guys that she screamed then it's an understatement! She ran to me and jumped up and down. She even cried a bit but because she's happy he finally get to do what he loves the most. Their friendship is just amazing! I first thought that it's gonna be weird if he knows about our tattoos but no not at all. The opposite has actually happened. Jaden and her talk a lot about their mental health. I'm glad she found such a great reference person! Well she still talks to me about it but it's better for her to talk to someone who's going through the same thing.

"We're thereeee" Darcy screams making me more nervous than I already am "calm down it's not that bad! You're amazing and you'll rock this shit!!!" She hypes me up.
"Well sadly you're not in the jury" I tell her as we get out of the car and head to the entrance.
"I would give you a 10!" She smiles "ah the boys and girls will be here in an hour so you could warm up in peace and without any interruptions" she adds lightly laughing, mostly referring to Blake and Bryce.
"But what will you do ?" I asks her feeling bad that she's gonna be alone for some time.
"Don't worry about me! I have my camera" she points at her bag.
"Okay good.... so see ya in a bit?" I ask her. Gosh I'm so nervous.
"Definitely! I'll be the loudest one in the crowd!" Darcy promises me.
We hug and I head into the room.

2 hours late....
The boys and girls arrived an hour ago. They took a seat in the front and second row...just for my performance, then they'll leave and wait with me outside. That's at least what we've agreed to do. I have to admin that I'm happy and glad that they support me. Without them I would be a nervous wreck.

"Next one is Amalia Buckley with a lyrical dance performance!"
I hear Darcy scream as I enter the stage. I had to hide my laugh...she's just too cute!
After the lights turn off the room is completely silent.

Thank god I performed without any mistakes! I can hear Darcy and Blake scream my name but I'm too nervous to focus on them. My eyes are on the jury.
"Thank you for this amazing performance! We'll see you soon!" Someone from the jury told me and I head off the stage and straight to the place where my friends and I wanna meet.

"OH MY GOSH GIRL THIS WAS AMAZING!" Addison is the first one that speaks.
I hug her and thank her.
Well we all hug.
Blake pulls me towards him "you did amazing!" He kisses my cheek.
"Thank you" I say while blushing.
"You should hug Darcy because I saw her crying during your performance" he tells me and I head directly to Darcy. I embrace her in a tight hug.
"I can't believe that you made me cry just with dancing!" She admits. Usually she can't do that much with dancing. So it's a big compliment!
"That's the only thing I need to hear.... I don't wanna win this anymore" I tell her honestly because she's my everything and making her cry (in a positive way of course) is the best compliment I could get.

There are a few more performances after me so we head to the Starbucks that's inside of the building to get something to drink. We talk for a bit but I can't really focus on the conversations.

Soon after it's time to head back. They'll announce soon who's first, second and third placed.
"We'll wait just here for you" Darcy says pointing at their seats.
I nod and head backstage.

"Ladies and gentlemen" one of the jury members says "third place goes to ...... ANTHONY GILBERT" we applaud for him.

"Now to the second place.... it goes to....MACKENZIE EASTWOOD" we applaud for her.
I'm a bit sad that I'm not in the top three but I'm still grateful for this amazing chance!

"And this years winner isssss...." they make it exiting "AMALIA BUCKLEY! Congratulations!" I'm numb. I don't even know what to do! I mean I was prepared to not win this competition but that I'm the winner is just unbelievable!
Darcy runs up to me on stage and hugs me. We start to cry but she's the one that speaks for me since I'm really speechless.
They head me the goblet and whatever it is in the envelope and we head off the stage.
Blake hugs me tight and lifts me up, spinning me around!
"I knew you'd make it!" Blake says sounding really proud.

They all congrats me and we head to the cars.
"Meet us at sway ?" Blake asks.
"If you want to" I say and kiss him.
"Yes I got something for you!" He tells me and gets into the car, leaving me speechless. I don't want anything... I'm just happy to have them and that they supported me.......
