Willows POV:

As we walked on, our cars ran out of gas long ago, I never liked that quiet in big groups of people. But even by myself I always sang to get rid of the quietness. But then again, I was alone; no one could judge me, and I knew I was terrible at signing, so I kept quiet as I was in between Ms. Michonne and Carl. Carl was very fun to talk to, but I knew they all were still sad about 'Beth'. She sounded wonderful, even if I didn't know her.

"Hey, I'll be back, I wanna go give this to Maggie." Carl said, showing me the music box we had found trying to find water.

I smiled, nodded and watched as he walked over to Maggie.

I felt a nudge from my left and say ms. Michonne smiling knowingly at me.

I felt blush make its way up my neck to my cheeks as I knew she was watching us.

"What?" I asked, whining to show how annoyed I was.

Ms. Michonne smiled smugly at me before looking ahead and saying "Nothin' "

I glared at her before looking ahead where Daryl and Rick were talking.

Ms. Michonne looked at me evilly before saying out loud, "Hey, Willow. I know how much you hate for it to be quiet, why don't you sing?"

I blushed hard core. I swear; she reads my mind sometimes!

I saw Carl run back to my side before asking me "No way! You sing?! Sing! Sing! Sing!" he chanted, and got others to chant as well. I glared at him before agreeing.

"But don't tell me I didn't warn ya! This will be terrible!" I yelled accusingly at them, but quiet enough so I wouldn't be heard by walkers.

"Not possible." Carl grinned at me lazily.

I took a deep breath, and sang my favorite nursery rhyme.

Lavender blue
Dilly dilly
Lavender green
When I am king
Dilly dilly
You shall be queen

Who told you so
Dilly dilly
Who told you so
'twas my own heart
Dilly dilly
That told me so

Gather your men
Dilly dilly
Send them to work

Some to the plough
Dilly dilly
Some to the fork

Some to make hay
Dilly dilly
Some to cut wood

While you and I
Dilly dilly
Keep ourselves warm

Lavender green
Dilly dilly
Lavender blue

If you love me
Dilly dilly
I will love you

Let the bird sing
Dilly dilly
And the lips play

We shall be safe
Dilly dilly
Out of harms way

I love to dance
Dilly dilly
I love to sing

When I am queen
Dilly dilly
You'll be my king

Who told me so
Dilly dilly
Who told me so

I told myself
Dilly dilly
I told me so

As I finished, everyone looked at me awe struck.

"What?" I asked, embarrassed.

Carl grinned, slug his arm over my shoulder and said "Looks like we have a new way to brake the ice."

Everyone but Maggie and Sasha smiled at me, happy and loved to hear my singing.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Carl and I were looking after Judith as we walked along, tired, but distracting ourselves, laughing when we told stories of our lives before this happened.

We were in the middle of laughing when we were cut short by a pile of water bottles in the middle of the road.

From a Friend

Was written on a piece of paper in sharpie under the water bottles.

Ms. Michonne stood closer to me, and Carl handed me Judith while he went to look around to see if anyone was near.

Eugene walked up to the water, as if to drink it, but it was thrusted out of his hands my Abraham. Yikes, they have a lot of tension.

Carl walked back up to Judith and I, shaking his head. So no one was around and we were being watched.

Oh joy...
