Screw the prologue, no one cares about how the Reader got sent to another world, because it's always the same! Truck-Kun did it, there now you know.

(Y/n's P.O.V.)

I awoke with a start, blinded by a bright blue light.  In front of my eyes floated a dull blue screen floated in front of my face.

Congratulation person!  You've been randomly selected to become [The Gamer], I'd like to wish you luck!

Due to an overabundance of heroes in other worlds, you have been sent to another Universe entirely!  Welcome to the DC Multiverse!  Your Job is quite simple, you need to become the Greatest Hero in the World, and have tons of babies!  Great right!?

Y/n: Uh... I guess?

Good!  Now on to power selection, would you like to spin the Wheel of Fate, or simply pick at random?  Note, spinning the wheel will get you a much more powerful ability, or may give you a completely useless ability.

Y/n: I'm feeling lucky... I'll choose the Wheel.

After I said that, the screen changed to a picture of a Wheel of Fortune-style wheel with well over one hundred powers on it.  Below it was a bright red square with the word "Spin" on it.  So reacting accordingly, I tapped it with a finger, which cause the wheel to start spinning.  A loud ticking noise filled my ears, fast at first, but slowing down gradually.  After a few seconds, the ticking stopped and landed on "[Ghost]".

Y/n: Ghost? What's that?

You can become [Intangible] on command.  Though you cannot move through Lead comfortably.  You can Also become [Invisible] on command, for Five minutes at a time, with a fifteen-second cooldown.  You can [Teleport] on command up to Forty Feet away, with no cooldown.  Finally, you can [Levitate] for a maximum distance of Fifty Feet.

Y/n: That's actually.... really good...

Would you like to select your Hero/Villain Name now?

I thought it over in my head, I have ghost powers, and I'm a teen... hmmm...  Y/n Phanto... no wait that's already taken... the Spectacular Ghost-Man... not that's unoriginal... shit... I got it!

Y/n: Polterguyst?

.... brrrr....
...computing....

......

DING

Name Set as Polterguyst.

Note, your name can be changed at any time until a Renown of 200 has been obtained, though, by that time, you'll be more concerned with other things no doubt.

Now moving on, this will be a pseudo-tutorial, though most things are for you to discoverStarting with stats, unlike other [Gamer Systems] I operate with the [S.P.E.C.I.A.L] System.  Meaning you have seven stats that have a max of 20 each, that you can directly allocate points into, or you can find a trainer to add a permanent bonus to these stats. I'll explain Trainers later, but for now how your stats affect your everyday life.

You most likely won't notice any difference, to begin with, but there will be a difference, I swear.  Dealing mostly with the proficiency that you're able to use certain skills.  You'll start with 34 S.P.E.C.I.A.L allocation Points to do with as you wish.
