Shadows

Leafy's POV

After yesterday's incident, almost everyone huddled up to the lab to watch Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Basketball making the lie detector.

Meanwhile, Firey and I were just, y'know, walking around.

"Who do you think it was?" he asked.

"Well, it was definitely Bubble, so it might be the whole alliance."

"Right. I also have a suspicion too. Match can start flames. The greenhouse was on fire. Notice anything odd about that?" he said as he continued to munch down on some chips.

"Yeah. The alliance wasn't there when the incident happened."

He looked over to my left side and said "Readers, take note of this."

"Huh? Nobody was there." I inquired.

"No, it was the readers, Leafy. Vote the alliance out, one by one. Trust me on this."

I smiled and we continued walking.

We saw a shadow as we turned over to a corner.

"No... I trusted you..."

That voice was familiar.

I peeked over the corner and saw two faces, one was definitely Pin.

The second one was a dark color, that's for sure.

The killer saw me peek over.

The murder stabbed Pin in the chest before disappearing into the shadows.

"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" I said, chasing the shadow.

"I-It's no use, Leafy. You might get dragged into those shadows and get killed." Firey said.

"Yeah. The best we can do is to report this."

"Agreed."

I punched the nearest alarm, and everyone went to us immediately.

"Pin?! No!" Coiny exclaimed, approaching her corpse.

"Only five people could have done this." Needle said, examining the stab.

"Firey and Leafy, Coiny, Snowball, and Teardrop."

They all gasped.

"Teardrop!?"

"Yes. Teardrop wasn't on the lab, along with the others."

"It wasn't me! I was with Firey the entire time!" I yelled.

"You're making yourself more suspicious, Leafy." Needle said.

That kept my mouth shut.

"... then it's most likely Coiny." she said.

Coiny gasped.

"Me?! Why would I kill Pin?!"

"You got in a fight with her on the cafeteria, remember?" she said with confidence.

"We made up for that awhile ago! Also, I told Pin I was going to go on the boy's bathroom!" he cried.

"I-It's gotta be SB, I know it!" he answered, pointing at him.

"ME?! HOW DARE YOU, COINY!" Snowball shouted, pushing him.

"See?! He lacks evidence!"

"We'll see about that, Coiny."
