TERMS
Many wolves are Jadu (jad-oo) which means they have powers. Most Jadu have odd colorings or features. Other animals can be Jadu as well.

Mahi
A Mahi is only born before a Great War, and is almost never a Wolf, but is almost always a Howl. A Mahi has all the powers possible for a Jadu.
The Mahi was made to be born, five lunars (years) before another Great War, which would make them five lunars old (technicality twenty human years) when the war started.

A Howl
Howls are all animals in the Wolf/dog family

Lunars
A lunar, is a (human) year of life. Every lunar, is four human years

Mates
The word Mate is short for Soulmate. A Howl's soulmate is decided by Loro, the God of Love. A Howl knows who is their Soulmate when they touch each other. Their soulmate's scent smells amazing to each other, and give off sparks when they touch.

Rejection/second chance Mates
It is possible to reject their soulmates, but almost never happens. When a howl is rejected, the other must accept the rejection before it can become official. Although, before the rejection becomes official, a Howl can find his/her second chance mate, and it feels the same as the original one, and sometimes better. The Howl that rejected the other, will not have a second chance mate.
