The next day Asia showed up with the kids.

Nicole walked inside the house. She was out with Tre looking for Jakobi. "Mom? What are you doing here?", she asked.

"Well, I came to ask your father the same thing", Asia said as she looked at Josh.

Josh called her down there for no reason because the person who broke in was their own son and he didn't know until the last minute.

"I just thought that it'd be good for you to get a change in scenery", he said.

"Not from the way you sounded on the phone", Asia said as she folded her arms.

"Yea you did sound worried about something yesterday", Nicole said.

"Everything's fine", Josh said. "Really"

As much as he wanted to tell Asia about Nicole Kobi, he just didn't know how to. He didn't know Nicole already knew and Nicole didn't know that Josh already knew.

"Mmm", Asia said. "Well then..I guess I'll go to Jaylen's house then and see how she and the baby is doing"

Josh nods. "Okay", Josh said.

Asia looked at him as she got up with a smirk look on her face like she was trying to figure out why was going on. Once she walked passed him she stopped looking at him and looked at Nicole.

"And where you been?", she asked.

"With Tre", Nicole said.

"I'm surprised, knowing your father", Asia said.

"I guess things do change", Nicole said.

"I guess so", Asia said as grabbed Raelynn's hand. "I'll see you guys later."

"Alright", Nicole and Josh said.

They left and Nicole locked the door.

"Dad?", Nicole said.

"Yea?", Josh replied.

"Last night you seemed off. What was wrong?", Nicole asked.

"Nothing", Josh said. "Did you get your grades yet?"

"Yea. You can log in yourself. You know the password", Nicole said.

Josh nods. "Okay", he said as started walking upstairs.

"Dad?", Nicole said but this time in a worried voice.

Josh stopped walking and looked back at her.

"I need your help with something", she said.

"What? What happened?", Josh asked.

"...I have this friend and their missing and I need your help finding them", Nicole said.

"That sounds like their parents should call the police", Josh said.

"Their parents don't think they're missing", Nicole said.

Josh made a face. "Will maybe you should tell them Nicole", Josh said.

"I wish I could but I can't right now", Nicole said.

Josh sighs as he walks back down the steps. "What happened?", he asked.

"Dad, I said I can't say", Nicole said.

"...what friend?", Josh asked.

Nicole sighed.

"Tell me", Josh said.

"...Jakobi", Nicole said.

Josh didn't say anything, he didn't even have an reaction.

"...why arent you saying anything?", Nicole asked.
