Whatever happened, nothing in this world would ever be what I expected.

"So I just have to keep a low profile, yes, a profile. It can't be too hard right? I mean, this is a new town, a new school, a new life... so... just keep to the shadows and be as solemnly noticed as possible" At least, that's what I keep telling myself... Did it work though? Only if my goal was to see through my own pathetic lies! This life was going to turn out like the last one, I could feel it. In the end, I was just going to have to move on... again.

I left my dorm, once I was walking through the halls of my new school; I took a great interest in the designs that were carved into the stone walls. It was a very Gothic school. Upon my wanderings, I decided to explore one of the passage ways that I had never seen used. Taking a quiet yet large gulp, I ignored the nerves telling me to walk away and started to climb the winding staircase. Once I reached the top, I found a place where I could spend my school days in peace. All my classes were near it thankfully, but the thing I found greatest about being on top of this tower was the view. It stretched as far as the eye could see, I stared our as the breeze ruffled my jet black hair. The school was located in the middle of Dark Forest. Whoever named it wasn't very creative. Dark Forest was very thick, and if you went too far in, the trees were so thick it would suffocate the ground of light. The founders of the school had come across the clearing and together, built the boarding school right on top of it. That's what I had heard anyway. Taking my eyes away from the breath-taking view, I gazed at my watch. Then as I sighed, descended the stairs from the sanctuary I had found.

By the time the bell had rung, I had arrived at my classroom, out from the classroom with smoke following her came the teacher, dressed in a black robe, with black hair and a black witches hat, she looked truly dark and terrifying, I assumed due to the reactions of the people around me.

"Come forth my pupils, into the classroom we go." She said, her voice scaring my classmates. Unfazed, I took a seat in the far back right corner and watched the petrified students stumble into the classroom to fill the once empty seats. As the final pupil took their seat, the teacher eyed us all with a viscous gaze.

"WELCOME TO HOGWARTS, SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY!" She shouted gleefully. The whole class stared wide-eyes and mouthed at the wacky bi-polar teacher.

"Welcome back to another year, or for some welcome for the first time." She said, eyeing me towards the end of her sentence. The classroom started giving her weird looks, whispers floated through the room. I just looked at her with a small amused smirk on my face and she took off her robes to reveal a white singlet, black jeans, blue converse, and removing her hat which revealed her long curly pink hair, a hyper giggle escaping her lips.

"Now, welcome to Creestle Academy of the Dark Forest. You know the one that surrounds our Academy, yes, that Dark Forest." She said rather fast. For a teacher that liked Harry Potter and acted as a creepy goth witch teacher on first impressions, she was one wacky female.

"Now would all you boys and girls like to learn about potions? Muahahahaha!" She laughed, a dark aura forming around her, scaring my classmates, but me, I couldn't take her seriously any more. I mean, who could take someone with long curly pink hair and a hyper attitude seriously when they were pretending to be dark?

"Joking, joking. I'm just the English teacher." And with that, the lesson started.

--

As the classroom emptied the people in front of me launched into idle gossip, of which I took no interest in. I ran straight up to my sanctuary, the one place I could sit and think about my troubles alone. Just me and the view. Staring out at the forest, it made me feel peaceful, alone, but when I looked down at the people below me, I felt scared, surrounded, and claustrophobic. It wasn't really fear of people, but more of a fear that they would find out my secret. The bell rung and I rushed down to my next class.
