Part 2: Irgoth's Perspective

Irgoth's journal entry

To Whom it may concern: Today is ALSO my first journal entry. For those who don't know me, I am known in hell as Irgoth. My parents are also Lucifer and Lilith, and I have an annoying rogue brother named Zagaroth. About two months ago (in human time), my annoying brother went missing. At first I thought that he just got lost in a fortress, or he was busy trying desperately to make friends with another demon and failing miserably, until one day, I found a trail of footprints that looked unusually like they were made by my brother's feet. I also picked up his scent from the trail. I followed the trail for some time, until I came across the forbidden portal. I was shocked- I thought that the portal was a myth! There is no way that Zagaroth found it, and yet his trail of footprints lead me right to it! I also found a page from his diary in front of the portal, and it said that he went through it. Oh my goodness- it was disastrous. It was catastrophic. I immediately flew back to the palace where Lucifer and the other 6 members of the council hold their meetings. I went to the tallest tower in the palace, and immediately rang the emergency meeting bell. When the other demons came to the council meeting, I told the council that I found the forbidden portal. Everyone laughed at me, so I showed them the page from Zagaroth's diary that I found by the portal. The demons' faces quickly went from disbelief to shock as they saw the withered page with my brother's sloppy handwriting on it. The council then asked me to show them the forbidden portal, so I showed them what I found. The rest of the meeting was kind of a blur to me, but after that, I had a one on one talk with my Dad. We agreed that I would go into the portal with some of my dad's friends to search for Zagaroth and bring him to justice- after all, my brother is an immature brat, and it is a crime to leave hell without a good reason- especially without letting the guards know about it. I have always hated my brother, and he will get what he deserves. If he runs away from me, I will only want to go after him more. In Hell, my brother is wanted for treason. Who knows- he could also be fraternizing with mortals for all I care. It also said at the end of his journal page that he wanted to become allies with the Catholic Church, and that would be considered fraternizing with the enemy. That would most definitely get him a life sentence. In hell, there is this way of imprisonment called "the urn"- where a rogue demon is forever kept inside a sealed urn. My brother will for sure get that punishment when I bring him back. I will see you on the other side.
