~ Time-skip, a few months later, graduation day ~
~ Y/n's P.O.V ~"Y/NNNN!" a high pitched voice could be heard from the other side of the court yard but it was very distinctive nonetheless.
I turn around to see Aimi running at me full speed, hair flying around and arms held out in front of her ready to tackle me to the ground. "Aimi!" I cheer back at the smaller girl and run in her direction to meet her halfway. We collide but no damage is done as we embrace each other in our formal outfits and graduation cloaks. I had on a white button up shirt with a black burlap bow decorating the front of the shirt. Black high-waisted trousers with white stripes complimented my figure and matched the ribbon keeping my hair in a ponytail that had the same pattern as my trousers. I decided to put on my (favourite colour) converse as I knew we were going to be standing up for hours on end and they were the most comfortable pair of shoes that I owned. Good decision to make as earlier I saw some girls carrying their heels as they walked around on the concrete bare foot, dodging small stones, bits of dirt and any other muck on the ground. It was hilarious. "How did you do?" She shrugs but does so with her usual joyful smile on her face.
"I passed everything but Geography but I don't need it for my future career so it doesn't really bother me!" She seemed a bit too excited but I suppose I could understand her point.
She releases me and stands with her hands on her hips and her head up high. "What do you want to be?" I ask out of curiosity.
"I want to be a child nurse" she cups her hands together and flashes me a toothy grin. She's so sweet...that job role was absolutely perfect for Aimi. Her kind and patient personality would certainly come in handy when dealing with sick children and I can just imagine her reassuring children when they're nervous about an operation or something. A quiet voice and a calming tone to let them know that they'll be safe and when they get out they can play with the toys offered. She'd make a great mum. "Y/n?" I didn't realise I had zoned out until Aimi's voice brought me back to reality. She was holding my wrist and using her thumb to point in the direction of the rest of the group.
Whilst me and Aimi were looking over in the direction of the group Tooru had caught my glance and his face had beamed almost as bright as the sun. If I don't return the excitement he'll get pouty. I never faked my behaviour with him but sometimes I maybe had to over exaggerate just a tad. Only to match his excitement level though.
