Chapter 15

My gutter hole of a boss 

Aarohi POV 

 As soon as I landed  my phone went off  guess who off course my brother 

'' Rohi where are you? '' He asked 

'' I have landed and I am coming straight to the hospital '' I told him

I was literally worried about my baba even though bhai assured me he will be fine but still  I am not able to calm my raging heart down maybe due to the Chawla incident . 

'' Hey baba is fine surgery was successful  you should go home and freshen up then come okay '' 

'' No bhai I am coming and thats it '' I hung up . I don't know why but I  just wanted to go and hide in my amma's arm and see my baba

'' Are you okay miss Sharma ? '' Mr Singhania asked concerned  as he pointed towards my tear then I realized I was crying . I wiped my tears and nodded at him .

We came out of airport I started moving towards auto stand but my boss stopped me and dragged me to his car 

'' Which hospital ? '' he asked 

'' Sir you don't ha... '' He cut me off by his glare . I sighed 

'' Jeevandaan hospital '' 

Then he dropped me off to the hospital . I was going inside but was stopped by  tug at the end of my dupatta . I turned around to see my boss  holding my dupatta  he took a step towards me and  bend down looked directly into my eyes 

'' Are you really ok ? '' he asked 

I bite my lower lip not knowing what to say . If I lie he will catch me because the truth is I am not okay . I am still terrified of the events took place at Mumbai .

Unsurely I nodded my head and  looked at floor eager to go inside .

He  sighed and hold my shoulders made me look in his black charcoal eyes  and spoke 

'' Don't look so gloomy  as this sad face don't suit you '' my eyes widen in surprise  ''  in fact you should  be proud of yourself for the bravery you showed today ''  he continued

'' I don't know about you but I am really proud of you  Aarohi '' . He hold the eye contact making me look in black eyes which are staring back at me with unfathomable intensity  which sends chill down my spine . He gave me his rare smile patted my shoulder .

After giving me a mini heart attack he turned and left in his car . While I just stood there still pondering over the fact that he just praised me . 

With a huge smile  I entered inside the hospital and went straight to met my amma and bhai .

After hugging my amma like a koala  bear for an entire hour I sat beside her in visitor's room as bhai left for his hostel room oh did I tell bhai study in same hospital and college . So I decided to spend  night here with amma .

  I placed my head oh her lap she stroked my hairs  and  told me how afraid was she when she got to know of my sudden business venture  as she was having a bad feeling about me .

 I just reassured her telling how I cannot ignore my boss's orders while she  kept cursing at him for taking me to Mumbai with him  at such a sudden notice and I just  sat there and smile like a crazed person at her every word .

Well why not my boss who fired me  okay almost fired me  on my first day just praised  me and specifically not for my work but my bravery like really he is  the one who kept saying '' Girls like me '' blah blah . He just praised me .
