AMBER’S POV

As I walked up to the house I took a deep breath. It had been so long since I had seen him. Sure we had keep in contact over the years since I moved away, but I was still worried that everything that had happened in the last couple of years had changed the Will that I had grown up with. How could it not. He wasn’t the same guy I had known at school, but was I the same shy girl he had grown up with? No I wasn’t. I had gotten rid of the puppy fat with a long of effect, my hair was no longer light brown and down to my bottom, it was black with pink highlight and only just passed my shoulder and that was only because I got hair extensions.

I paused at the door just before I knocked. Come on Amber you can do this. Just as I was about to knock on the door it flew open and this blonde haired guy was standing in front of me. It only took a second to realise it was Jayden. He looked at me confused and said in a thick irish accent “You’re not the pizza guy” then he smiled

“And your not Will” I replied

“Touche” Jayden turned his head towards what I assume would be the lounge room “Will there is someone to see you” He yelled then he leaned in a quietly asked “What’s your name?”

“Amber” I leaned in and whispered

“It’s someone called Amber” he called

All I hear was a running and then I was nearly blowed over when a blur came at me.

“AMBER” I heard that familiar voice say and in that moment all my worries went away in a heartbeat.

Trent’S POV

I hadn’t taken any notice of what Jayden was calling out as I was too busy trying not to laugh at the faces Julian was pulling but then I saw at the corner of my eye a blur that was Will. I had never seen the guy move that fast before. “What’s going on?” I asked to no one in particular

“It’s that friend of Wills. Amber or something. She must be at the door” Said Zach who hadn’t even looked up from his phone, chances are he was texting his girl.

“Jayden must be disappointed that it wasn’t the pizza guy” I said. I had vaguely remembered Will talking about Amber, some girl he went to school with but she moved back to Melbourne a few years ago. He must have been more excited that she was coming back to Sydney then I had realised. I really should pay more attention to my mates.

“Everyone this is Amber” I looked up I didn’t even noticed Will, all I could look at was this beautiful girl standing there. She was hiding behind her hair a little, her fringe nearly covered her eyes. I understood why Will was so excited to see her, anyone would be.

Will’S POV

I was jumping up and down on the inside. Seeing Amber in the flesh was exactly what I needed since my break up with Ellise. Amber had always been my rock, but not in a romantic way. Even now when she looked amazing and not at all like the dull looking girl I had grown up with. She was shining now. No longer feeling the need to hide her beauty, I still felt nothing but love for her, like a sister. I noticed right away that Trent was staring at her. I gave him a look trying to use Jedi mind tricks to make him not think what he was thinking. We all knew what that look meant and the last thing I wanted was for Trent to break the heart of someone I saw as a sister.
