The day

*Austin's pov*

I walked to my first lesson still thinking about the girl. Where is she from? Does she come to this school now? As I walked into the class I remember we had homework. Yet again I haven't done it. What do I do this time? My dog ate it? I don't even have a dog. Mr Sprit is gunna kill me. My parents can't find out about this. Oh well. I walked in and took my seet. I looked around the room.

'Get out your homework!' Mr Sprit shouted. I raised my hand slowly.

'I don't have my homework' I said in a cocky tone.

'Well where is it then? This is the 100th peice this term!' He shouted at me.

'Well, you see there's this thing called don'tgiveafuckalitice and I seem to have a really bad case of it' I smirked. The whole class burst out laughing, even the new girl. I looked at her and winked. Mr Sprit walked over to me and made me stand up.

'GET OUT OF MY CLASS RIGHT NOW!' he shouted at me. 

'OKAY OKAY, someone's on their period' I said jokingly while grabbing my bag and walking out. I opened my pack of gum and slipped a peice in my mouth. I bumped into Jason on the way to my locker. 

'Yo, sup dude? Why you out of lesson this time?' He asked.

' Same thing as usual, no homework, Mr Sprit's a dick' I laughed while saying it, ' anyway I made that new girl laugh.'

' Oooooooooooooooooooooooo someone's got a crush' Jason teased me.

' Nah not a crush, I just think she's really hot' I went bright red. Me and Jason talked for a while but as soon as we knew it the bell went. I grabbed my skateboard and started walking out of school. I suddenly bumped into a girl.

'My bad' I said while looking up. It was her. 

' It's my fault' She said in a calm tone. She flipped her hair out of her face and looked at me. My heart melted while looking into her eyes.

' I'm Austin. You like to ride?' I asked while pointing at her board.

' I'm Taylor, Yeah kinda' she replied while giggling cutely. She was perfect in every way possible. She started to skate off and I watched her. I got on my board and rode home.

*8pm* 

I switched on my laptop and saw that half of the screen had smashed. No. No. No. No. I opened the tab up and loaded facebook. I searched all over for Taylor then suddenly I had a friend request from her. I freaked out for about 10 mins then accepted it.

' Sup' I messaged her.

' Hey Austin x' She replied.

' I know this may be to soon but, wanna hang out sometime? x' I asked

'Yeah sure, I need to go  I have homework then I need to get to bed :( x ' She responded.

' Aw okay, She ya around then beautiful? x ' I switched off my laptop and then got in the shower. 

When I got out of the shower family guy was on. I sat in bed watching family guy. I was starting to get annoyed with my mum and her boyfriend by now. All they do is shag like every night. I threw a baseball bat at the wall and it went straight through it. There was a massive hole, I could see everything. They soon stopped and got covered up.

'CAN YOU LIKE NOT DO THAT AT MIDNIGHT? IT'S JUST EW' I scream violently at them.

'Sorry hun' My mum said while covering up the hole. I carried on watching t.v but before I knew it I had fallen asleep. I woke up at 10am the next morning. CRAP, FUCK, SHIT. I was late...Oh well I'll just take the day off. I grabbed my board and set out to the skate park. When I got there, I noticed a small child crying. I ran over to him and made sure he was alright.

'Are you okay?' I asked in a calm tone. The boy just started crying. I didn't know what to do so I hugged him tightly. 'Everything's gunna be okay' I told him trying to believe the words I said.

~Flashback~

I ran outside, unsure of where I was. I just kept running, running until I found my hiding spot.MY hiding spot. This was a small narrow tunnel I could fit in. I sat in the tunnel and brung my knees to my chest and cried. I can't go back. I can't go back. Why did I leave my mom so weak? Why didn't I try help her? I was scared. Why does he hate me? Suddenly a voice said to me 'everythings going to be okay'. Well is it? Is that why I'm sat here?

~end of flashback~

I picked the small boy up and skated back to my house. I sat him on the couch and made some pizza with some pepsi. I gave the boy a warm jumper and made him feel at home. ' My name's Austin' I told him.

' My name is Joshua' He replied quietly.

'Well Joshua you can stay here as long as you need. I know what it's like to be in your situiation' I smiled and gave him some pizza. I turned on the T.v and watched it with him. 'So do you skatboard?' I asked to make convasation.

' Erm...No...But I'd love to learn how' He said in response.

'How about I teach you?' I stood up and grabbed my board.

'That would be great' Joshua smiled.
