Hello. Before I tell my story allow me to introduce myself. I am Crystal Rose, daughter of John and Alexandra Rose and a big sister. This part of the story takes place when I was 7. My little sister was 6. Well, she isnt my biological sister. My parents just wanted another kid, mostly my dad. My dad had serious drinking issues, and he would hit us if he was drunk enough. He wanted somebody to hit freely and manage to get away with it.
Anyways, now is when i begin my story. And do not worry, it will be in first person. Anyways, without further ado, let's begin.

It was a quiet day in mid-January. I was sitting outside watching the snow fall from the coziness of my porch, which of course had a porch cover. I was about to drift off when the sound of a car pulling into the driveway jolted me awake. I sat up to see it was my mother's car. I excitedly got up and ran to greet her with our usual hug. I then helped my little sister out of the car. She was beautiful, she had long brown hair and large black eyes and fair skin, there was not a single flaw in sight. But of course, everyone knew the truth, it was all just plastic surgery. Each time a bruise appeared on her body, my father took her to get more plastic surgeries. My little sister was a child model. She also was an amazingly good singer. She was especially good with animals! "Hello Midnight!" I said as i opened the door and helped her out. "How did it go?" Midnight looked down before just saying "It went okay". Of course my father hated when i was nice to her, but he wasnt home today. He had work. At least thats what he says it is. I never told Mama about it. "So Mama, what are we having for dinner?" I asked excitedly. "Steak with soup!" she replied. That made me want dinner even more. My Mama made the best steak you would've ever tasted! That night, my Papa actually came home, and when he didnt see Midnight cleaning he went to her room. I followed quietly. "HOW DARE YOU NOT CLEAN THIS HOUSE! DON'T YOU HAVE ANY SENSE OF DECENCY!?" He yelled. "I-Im sorry Papa! I was out shopping with Mama today, we had to go get dinner!" Midnight replied. Her voice shook, she truly sounded like she was going to cry. "SORRYS DONT CUT IT" my Papa said as he pulled out a knife and cut into Midnight's arm. She screamed, and that seemed like one of the worst screams I had ever heard from her. But i couldn't do anything, or my parents would abandon me or sell me off on the black market. That scares me more than anything. I hid as Midnight ran out of her bedroom with blood running down her arm. And i was unable to do nothing.
