Becoming Friends

Back at the village in an asylum check in, Bakugo and Minoru were talking to the asylum owner.
"I wonder what brings you here Bakugo and Minoru", asked the owner.
"We're here to check Gran Torino in", answered Bakugo.
"Torino is harmless", said the owner.
"Well he's been grunting about a demon in a castle", said Bakugo.
"He's only doing it so he can get Deku to quit his silly dream", said Minoru.
"SHUT UP YOU LITTLE PERV", yelled Bakugo as he was about to hit Minoru.
Minoru covered his head with a flower pot.
"I don't recall Deku getting involved with this situation", said the owner.
"OH COME ON HE SUPPORTS THAT LUNATIC", yelled Bakugo.
"Yeah Deku is just as crazy as Torino", said Minoru.
Bakugo attempted to hit Minoru again for interrupting him.
Minoru cover his head with the pot again.
"I'll do it but it will cost you", said The owner.
Bakugo threw a bag of coins on the table and the owner picked up some coins.
"Here, but if Deku accepts to give up his dream, don't but Torino in the asylum", said Bakugo.
"Why your using asylum to force someone to give up his dream, that is just despicable, ha ha ha I love it", said the owner.
At Deku's house, Torino packed up some supplies to rescue Deku.
"If no one's going to help Midoriya then I will have to go back alone", said Torino determined.
Torino left the house and headed for the castle and Bakugo and Minoru rode a carriage to Deku's house.
Bakugo and Minoru barged in.
"Deku, Torino", said Bakugo.
"Oh well, so much for the plan", said Minoru.
Bakugo grabbed Minoru hostage and walked out.
"They got to be back sometime", said Bakugo.
Bakugo threw Minoru in the snow pile by the watermill.
"Don't move from that spot until they come back".
Bakugo walked away.
"But, but, but, ah dang it", said Minoru banging on the wall of the side of the stairs.
Some snow fell on Minoru from the banging.
Meanwhile, Deku was walking his horse in the courtyard and Todoroki newly dressed was watching on the balcony and felt a change in heart when he looked at his bandaged crab arm.
"I never felt this way about anyone before, it's like there's a friendship developing", said Todoroki.
"I want to do something for him, but what"?
"Oh we got the usual, chocolates, necklaces", answered Iida.
"No no, it has to be something special, like, hymmmmmm, I got it", said All Might.
Back inside the castle, Todoroki took Deku to some room behind the big double doors.
"What are you giving me", asked Deku curious.
"Something special, just behind these doors", answered Todoroki quite happy.
Todoroki slightly opened the door but closed it.
"But first I need you to close your eyes".
Deku gave Todoroki a smirk.
"It's a surprise".
Deku closed his eyes.
Todoroki opened the doors and helped Deku in the room.
"Can I open my eyes yet", asked Deku curious.
"No not yet", answered Todoroki.
Todoroki walked Deku to the middle of the room and stopped there.
"Don't open them yet".
Todoroki ran to the window on his hands and feet and opened the curtains with his smaller hands to let in some light.
"Okay now you can open them".
Deku opened his eyes and saw armor and weapons and shields everywhere.
"Wow, so much combat gear", said Deku in joy.
"Do you like it", asked Todoroki.
"I love it, your an amazing friend", answered Deku happily.
"I'm glad you like it, because it's all yours", said Todoroki.
"Really, it's all mine", asked Deku.
"Yes, but be careful, some of these are heavy", answered Todoroki.
"How heavy", asked Deku.
"Pretty heavy, some these stuff are from Germany", answered Todoroki.
"Is that a joke", asked Deku.
"Maybe", answered Todoroki shrugging.
"This makes me feel like a hero", said Deku.
"A really great one", said Todoroki.
Deku laughed in joy then Todoroki started laughing too.
After that Deku and Todoroki had lunch.
Once Deku sipped some soup from his spoon he saw Todoroki eating out of the bowl like an animal.
Todoroki stopped eating and wiped his mouth with his arm.
Kirishima passed Todoroki the spoon and Todoroki picked it up.
Todoroki scooped some soup with the spoon and turned his head up and dropped some soup in his mouth making a mess.
Kirishima chuckled but Tokoyami stopped him by giving him a disciplined look.
Deku held up the bowl and Todoroki did the same and they drinked out of the bowls.
Meanwhile they went outside in the courtyard sitting on a bench.
"I know I need a quirk from All Might but I already feel like a hero just by helping you out", said Deku.
"You'll always be my hero Midoriya", said Todoroki.
"I'm glad you think that, the people at my village thought I was odd and funny dreaming to be a hero cause I'm quirkless, cause of that they called me Deku", said Deku.
"Your village sounds terrible", said Todoroki.
"I just wish the name Deku could be something better", said Deku.
"It can be your hero name", said Todoroki.
"That name doesn't really mean anything, those villagers just made that name to represent me being helpless and weak", said Deku.
"But your right, for now on Deku will mean being a hero".
"That's the spirit", said Todoroki.
"Since when did Todoroki became so nice, is it cause of me", asked Deku curious in his thoughts.
Then Deku and Todoroki went to feed the birds.

 
🎵Never looked at me that way before🎵

Deku's thoughts: There's something sweet, and almost kind
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined
And now he's dear, and so unsure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before

(Todoroki had trouble getting the birds to feed out of his hands but Deku helped by laying a trail of food.
Then some birds came and jumped into Todoroki's hands eating the food)

Todoroki human voice thoughts: He glanced this way, I thought I saw
And when we touched, he didn't shudder at my paw
No, it can't be, I'll just ignore him
But then he's never looked at me that way before

(Deku walked by the tree)

Deku's thoughts: New, and a bit alarming
Who'd have ever thought that this could be?

(Deku saw Todoroki have birds all over him)

Deku's thoughts: True, that he's no Prince Charming
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see

(Deku threw a snow ball at Todoroki and giggled. Todoroki made a large snowball but Deku threw another one as Todoroki was about to throw it and the giant snowball fell on Todoroki. Then they started playing a game of snowball fight as All Might, Iida and Tokoyami were watching)

All Might: Well, who'd have thought?

Tokoyami: Well, bless my soul

Iida: Well, who'd have known?

Tokoyami: Well, who indeed?

All Might: And who'd have guessed they'd come together on their own?

(A few days pass by and Deku and Todoroki were sitting by the fire pit making paper origamis)

All Might, Iida and Tokoyami: It's so peculiar, wait and see, we'll wait and see a few days more
There may be something there that wasn't there before

Iida: Perhaps there's something there that wasn't there before

"What", asked Kirishima.

Tokoyami: There may be something there that wasn't there before

"What's there Tokoyami", asked Kirishima again.

"I'll tell you another time Eijiro", answered Tokoyami.

Uraraka and All Might closed the doors.
