it was all but a regular night for denki kaminari.

you see, he asked someone out.

and they said yes.

that never happened.

and it was someone he'd actually fallen for.

it was one hitoshi shinsou.

getting ready was the hardest part of his day.  denki wore a black and white checkered t shirt with ripped jeans.  he loved having free will over what he could wear, so days when he could go out and didnt have to stay in ua were some of his favorites.

he called kirishima to ask about some things because, believe it or not, kaminari had never been on a date before.

"dude, you really think this is oka-"

there it was.

that fateful knock.

he walked to the door,  phone pressed against his ear.

he opened the door.

"uh, kiri, i have to go, ill talk to you later." he hung up before kirishima could say goodbye.

"h-hey, kaminari." shinsou stuttered.

denki looked him up and down before replying.  "please, call me denki."

shinsou was wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans.

shinsou sighed.  was denki that boring? already?

"well, we should get going." denki suggested.

"yeah."

the two boys walked through the halls of ua until they reached the gate.

kaminari decided to do something he never thought he would be brave enough to do.

he grabbed shinsous hand.

it was so warm and soft.

he looked up at the boy he was going out with, who was trying to hide his blush with the sleeve of his sweatshirt.

kaminari had been curious about this for a while."so, where are we going shinsou?"

"call me hitoshi," he paused, "and were going down to the cafe on 1st street, if thats fine with you."

"thats cool with me dude."

his voice cracked a little bit.

that was embarrassing.

they ate dinner at the cafe and denki offered to pay, but hitoshi told him not to worry about it.

they went back to the dorms.

kaminari spoke up when they reached his door.

"hey, uh, shinsou?"

they stopped at denkis dorm. "yeah?" he replied.

"do you wanna maybe, since its friday, stay over tonight?" he timidly asked.

"oh sure, ba- i mean, dude."

denki giggled as he opened the door to his dorm.

shinsou smiled down at the little ball of sunshine that was denki kaminari.

the two sat on denkis bed, playing games together and watching youtube until kaminari fell asleep, his head in hitoshis lap.

shinsou fell asleep soon after getting into a more comfortable position for them to cuddle in.
