2. Destiny

Alex never believed in destiny, it all seemed bull to him.

Lilian belived in destiny. Everything made sense if you believe in destiny, she thought, but somewhere inside she was loosing hope.

Two high schooler, in search of their destiny. One believes the other doesn't.

It was halfway through the year, both lost and confused in their own world, talking to their friends.

It was just another boring day at school.

The teacher banged her first on the table "Alex! Get up from your seat!" He obediently stood up. "Yes ma'am?" He looked down knowing very well what's going to happen next.

"Sit there, away from Dana.. why do you guys always have to talk? What's soo important? Huh?" He could argue but he choose not to.

He packed up his supplies and sat down in an empty bench in the middle row.

"You okay?" Dana confirmed, Dana was genderfluid, they use all pronons but preferred he/him when Alex was talking to him... he knew Alex was sensitive. "I am fine" he smiled weakly, we talked throughout the break because we had nothing better to do.

"Yoo! You should watch this anime called Ourun High School host club it's soo amazing!" Said a female voice from right behind.

A bright smile made its way on his visage as I turned to look at the speaker. "You watch anime!" He exclaimed.

"Yea! Only a few but I really enjoy it" said the girl. "Who are you?!" Her friend replied rather shocked. Well, he did really did pop out of nowhere. Anime style!

The girl and her friend laughed "Oh, sorry about that, I am Alex and this is my friend Dana and you are?" Alex introduced.

"Lilian and this is my friend Drew" Drew waved. "Hi!" He smiled softly.

Sooner than they realized, Lilian, Drew, Dana and Alex became close friends.

Lilian and Alex were becoming close.. it was also around the time he was having feelings for Dana. But as Alex thought... They were better of as friends than lovers. So he started killing his feelings.

Alex was never an open person, always hid his feelings and emotions.. he never cried.. rarely. But he had one major fear.

Thanatophobia, the fear of loosing those your love, by death or in general.

Now he wasn't scared of his own death. He wanted to die every second, but seeing those who he loves die or just walk out from his life... It broke him.
