3 Hours later after Kuroo gets home and takes a shower he picks up his phone to check the time and has 28 texts from Bokuto so he calls him. Bokuto answers.
"Hey Bo-" Kuroo starts "KUROO! ITS KENMA!!! He...he was found out in the middle of the road, he got hit by a truck" Kuroos eyes widen as Bokuto told him this "T-this is a joke right? K-Kenmas fine...hes-hes playing Mi-Minecraft at home, r-right buddy? Y-youre just p-p-playing...right?" Kuroo starts crying "...No Kuroo...hes in the hospital..." As Bokuto said those words Kuroo could feel his world start to fall apart, his life was nothing if Kenma wasnt in it.
Kuroo hangs up, puts on his jacket, and runs to the hospital. He didnt know which one but he'd check every last one if he had to. After an hour Kuroo finally shows up at the right hospital to see Hinata, Bokuto, and Akaashi. "Where is he..." Kuroo said quietly "What Kuroo?" Bokuto said as he got up to greet him "Where is Kenma?!" Bokuto stopped, and sighed "He's not doing well, doctor said he might not make it"
Akaashi looked at Bokuto and whispered "Couldve sugar coated it a bit" Hinata sprang up and hugged Kuroo "Im so sorry Kuroo, if i wouldve known we wouldnt be here" Kuroo looked at Hinata with tears in his eyes and smiled "Its not your fault, dont worry..." 'He will be ok right? He has to be ok' Kuroo thought to himself.
3 Hours later the Doctor walks in to see only Kuroo "Sir are you here for Kenma Kozume?" Kuroo looks up "Is he alright?" Kuroo asks with eyes red from crying "Im sorry to tell you but, hes in a coma and he has a 5% chance of coming out of it alive..." Kuroo looks into his lap and tries to cry but he cant "Would you like to see him?" The doctor asks "Yeah..." Kuroo gets up and follows the Doctor to room 302 "Here he is..." Kuroo walks in and sees Kenma lying there, He looks lifeless.
Kuroo sits next to him and holds his hand "Hey kitty...im so, SO sorry for letting this happen to you..." Kuroo looks at him and crys again "I wish there wa-" Before he could finish Kenma's moniter flat-lines "No no no this cant be happening...DOCTOR!!!" Doctors rush in and escort Kuroo out of the room and into the waiting room. "He'll be ok, He'll be ok" Kuroo keeps repeating, but deep down he knows its a lie.
