Out of all you're so called "skinsuit teammates", Revenant had taking a liking to you. He can't explain and it's not like he'd ever try. Its just something that he buries deep down in his circuitry.

When he's on your team, he finds himself carrying extra materials, in case you run out. His hmphs become quieter or he might even say a thank you, if you can even hear it.

If he's your enemy, he tends to skim over you, picking off your team instead, leaving you last. If he has to finish you off, he tries to be "gentle". No matter how much he really isnt programmed to do that.

He only hopes you haven't noticed these things...much.

With every new season comes new outfits and cosmetics for the legends. And low and behold who could have gotten the first legendary of the season, but Elliott goddamn Witt.

His bar was packed full, him taking the usual lead of bartender and snapping jokes.

Revenant had no idea why he even came out here, it's not like he could even drink. But seeing as every legend tends to attend the opening season party, he figured you would be here too.

His "brain" was wracked with thoughts, cursing himself for being so damn protective of you. What was it with you? How could a someone like a simple skinsu-

And like that Mirage's voice rang out across the bar. It seemed to almost vibrate inside Revenant's skull.

"And if you look at the medal in the middle, it's real gold!" Mirage stood directly across from at the bar, taking a break from serving. "Well, that's at least what they told me."

Giving out a laugh you perch your elbow on top the table. You seemed at least vaguely interested. And this triggered something in Revenant. He didn't know what but suddenly his mind felt cloudy and the world hazy. It was like the only noises he heard were you and Mirage.

"And these goggles are professionally made." He began to take them off and placing them on your head. "You know, I think someone looks better in them, even than me!"

Revenant didn't even feel himself get up, but he only realized he reached the bar when Elliott gave a quick greeting. "Oh uh, hey Rev! Didn't expect to see you down here tonight." Elliott was already fidgeting a bit with a washcloth. Revenant knew he scared Mirage and he loved it.

"Rancor whiskey." Revenant's voice rang low. He didn't even know if that drink still existed, it had been 200 something years since he last drank.

"Aha, you're a funny guy!" Mirage gave a finger gun and began to stress clean a cup. He smile faltered a bit when silence took over.

"Now." Revenant spoke even lower and he could feel Mirage's heart tick faster.

"Uh uh yeah yeah! Coming right up!" He scattered off immediately, sweat beading his face.

Revenant turned his to look at you. Your face held a small smile and your eyes glistened with the colorful lights dotting the bar. "It's nice seeing you out here."

He could only turn his head back towards the bar counter. It felt like every motor in his body was overwhelmed, everything frozen. He only mumbled, "You too."

Elliott quickly ran back with a single shot, nodding to Revenant, and quickly running back away. If Revenant could smile, he would.

He only took the glass shot and held it, swirling around the contants of the drink.

---------

The night was coming to a close and he had been by your side the whole time. Your fatigue was reaching it's peak and you had began to slump over at the bar, laying your head down.

"Hey." Revenant poked at you. "It's time to go." You almost swat him away but he had already began to drag you off your seat.

One of your arms over his shoulder, he walked you home.
