I want some strawberry tarts. Oh, and cheesecake! Also, bananas and mango shakes!

As I was peacefully thinking of snacks, my mother, Anna, rudely interrupted my line of mouth- watering thoughts. "Sierra, may you please harvest the strawberries? You'll do your father a great favor!" I sighed as I walked out the door while answering my mom with a "Yes,".

Doing what my parents asked of me, I headed out of my wonderful house. "Dad, I'm going to harvest our strawberries now!" I yelled, running halfway to the farm. "Oh, and don't forget about Keith's medicine!" By the time I think he replied, I was already dragging myself into the muddy strawberry farm with a large basket at my hand.

"She'll be coming down the mountain when he comes! She'll be coming down the mountain when he comes! La la la la la la do da." I sang while harvesting my favorite snack. Thankfully, I was halfway finished with it. Yehaw! Strawberry tarts all around for dessert! "Who's a happy girl? I'm a happy girl! Who's a hungry girl? I'm a hungry girl!" I chanted while harvesting. It gets really boring when you harvest all alone because you're, well, alone with no one to talk to and not to mention no one to talk about.

You see, my family has lived in the middle of nowhere for a very long time, ever since my grandmother, well, past away. Since I'm about to turn seventeen now, it's about to turn into 6 years of staying out from the loud, bustling city and into the calm, peaceful but empty countryside with me helping with the farm and raising and teaching Keith the right things along the way. Oh, Keith is 11 years old, his birthday was just a month ago. Honestly, even though I know I came from a loud city, I don't know what happened during those days at the city (I don't even know which city). My parents said that I bumped my head and that I only know my basic education (those at pre- school, my name.. stuff like that). They called it this thing called amnesia, but they won't tell me how and why I got it, all they told me is what I needed to know, not my memories and things.

While I was deep in thought, thinking about my about-to-turn-to 6 years of staying here, somebody scared me from the behind. "FLIPPERY WABALSACKS! Somebody help me, there's an assault!" I yelled, unable to control myself. "Relax, sis, it's just your good, old, charming brother, Keith." said an absolutely charming voice. Yep, that's right, my brother could be a ladies' man. You know, if there were actually some ladies here excluding my mom and I."Well, Keith, since you're already here, can you, pretty please with a cherry on top, go and tend to the pigs, chickens, goats, and cows?" I asked with my puppy dog eyes. "Fine, go ahead and harvest the main ingredient for snacks." Keith replied. "Liar! The secret ingredient to the soup is nothing! N- O- T- H- I- N- G." I spelled out and yelled at the process, for he was already halfway there to the barn. "You are not Po's father! Oh, and sis, I love you! Stay safe!" he yelled back without looking at me. "I love you more, baby boy!" I replied, but by that time he was so far away, I wasn't sure if he heard me. I just love how my relationship with my family is going right now.

"1, 2,3, 4, I have strawberries near your door!" I sang to my Mom's bedroom. It was my way of asking her if I could use the kitchen to make some tarts.

Hey, I won't blow up the kitchen and stuff! I actually cook very well, it's from my mother's side of the family.

I heard my mom shuffling in the parents' bed, like she was getting up or something. Most probably it's getting up, I woke her up with my beautiful voice! She always wakes up when someone calls her, or hears one of our voices. "I'll help you with cooking that, dear, you wouldn't want you to mix it up, would you?" was the reply, and I was correct about her just waking up. Her voice sounds like the one you have every morning. I had to agree with her that I couldn't do it alone, it's my first time making a tart! "Sure, I'll be waiting in the kitchen, mother!" I semi- yelled to make her hear it as I was going down the stairs.
