**Anthony’s POV**

"PTSD?" I repeated, puzzled as to what this meant.

“Post traumatic stress disorder.” Kenya clarified, “Most common with war veterans, but also with people who’ve gone through horrible events. It makes sense seeing that they can cause night terrors and hallucinations.”

I sighed, So much for everything being okay. "What can I do to make this… You know... Go away?"

“I suggest therapy, talking it out may be helpful in your case.” I said nothing as I rubbed the bridge of my nose in worry of what might happen.

“Is there a medication for it?” I asked as I leaned over in the chair and covered my face with my hands.

“Medication may not work Anthony, I really think discussing the matter may work better. I could refer you to one of my group therapy sessions if you want. I’m quite sure Rachael woul-”

“No.” I said as I snapped my eyes up to her in fear. Rachael couldn’t and I mean couldn’t know about this. Like I said the night terrors, have been hard enough on her. This would probably be the thing that finally makes her want to leave me. “Kenya you can’t tell her about this.”

“Anthony you have PTSD.” I winced at her words because now I’m more of a freak than I was before. “What if this progresses even more?” Kenya inquires as she crosses her legs on her chair in her office. “And furthermore do realize you’re asking me to lie and keep something from my best friend?”

“Kenya, please, I usually don’t ask for favors but this is the moment that I do. I love Rachael, more than anything in this world, and everyday I wonder why we’re together, and I feel like she’s totally out of my league. I’m waiting for her to wake up one day, and figure it out that she’s meant to be with someone, other than me.”

“Anthony-”

“No,” I wasn’t looking for sympathy, I just needed to get that off my chest and finish what I was saying, “Please if she found out about this then she would definitely leave me. So what I need you to do is when she asks you what happened, say everything was fine. This is just a secret between you and I.” Kenya shook her head in disappointment and crossed her arms. But I know Kenya’s right, this could probably progress and I don’t want Rachael figuring it out on her own.

“And I need you to do one more thing for me. I want you to write me a perscription, whatever medication that will make this stop.”

Kenya tilted her head and clenched her jaw, “I’ll do it, but you have to come to a one-on-one therapy session every week.”

“Done.” I say without a second regret anything to make this secret stays a secret.

Kenya took a notepad out of her pocket and scribbled meaningless words to me on it. She ripped the sheet of paper off and handed it to me, I reached for it but Kenya retracted her hand. “I hope you know what you’re doing, Anthony. The few things Rachael hates is to be kept out of the loop when it’s something that concerns her and being lied too. We’re doing both. The moment she finds out she’ll be furious.”
