You got to your dorm and showered once you got out the shower you had your towel wrapped around your body and walked out with your long brown hair dripping from the water. You picked out a simple outft a sweatshirt that had a small patch yellow on the top left that said "Hufflepuff" you put on black sweats and sat down at your desk. You brushed your hair and dried it leaving to be it's natural wavy look. You put it up in a high pony tail and leaving two strands out. You put on your Classic Vans since your Converse were soaked. You then walked to see the the sorting ceremony in the dining hall.
As you walked in you felt all eyes on you but you stayed focused and sat down at the hufflepuff table.

You saw your sister walking down the isle as she was 5th in line to get sorted you played with your rings as you got nervous she looked at you raising her eyebrows and awkwardly smiling she then looks at Ryland and Nods. The hat talks to himself quietly all of a sudden you hear out of the Hats mouth "HUFFLEPUFF" you cheered louder than anyone at your table and she ran over to you and jumped in your arms her hair getting in your face you then looked at her and fixed her glasses as they were crooked although she wanted to be Gryffindor she was happy to be a hufflepuff. She sat down next to you as you admired her and realized how much she was like you. She was caring and loved everything and everyone and was a bit shy.

After everything was over and it was late you got stopped by someone not being able to see who it is you grabbed your wand and shined the light in their face. It was Luna Lovegood. "Oh hello Luna" you said smiling. Luna was the only friend you had "Hi Autumn im so sorry about us not sitting together it was all just so much an-" you cut her off and giggle "it's okay it was very crazy this year for some reason don't worry about it Luna." You guys hugged and you headed back to your dorm. Luckily you had your own dorm along with Ryland and Kylie. You were never told why exactly but you assumed it was because your mother was a professor.

You woke up to a loud knock on your door you sat up   and felt confused. You got up and unlocked the door and opened it a crack to peek to see who it was. You then see Malfoy. You sigh and open the door waiting for him to say something pathetic. "Morning Autumn." "Morning.." you said waiting for that stupid remark he always made. "What Can i help you with you said half smiling?" "Well..your mother decided that it would be a good idea to be the class presidents.." he said "Oh." You said. He looked into your deep blue eye and then looking over to your gray eye, he smirked.

I looked into her eyes I never realized how beautiful and different they were. She was beautiful and I wasn't gonna doubt it she was just not popular. I have always been mean to her because I could never be seen flirting or being with a hufflepuff but my oh my was she incredible. I looked at her as she snapped me out of it and said "what?" I looked at her and sighed I walked into her dorm admiring all the plants and pictures of creatures she studied and that she loved. You sat down on her fluffy white chair and she sat on her bed. You cleared your throat as she waited for something to happen "I wanted to apologize for flipping you over on the boat yesterday." "Oh..it's fine" she said not expecting the apology. You looked at her and smiled she nodded and smiled back. God I was in love with a hufflepuff.  I knew I shouldn't be but I was. and I tried to ignore that the best I could.

I left her dorm and walked back to mine to get ready. I could only think about her. Her eyes, her hair, her freckles, the way she fidgets with her rings when she's lying. Her plumped lips. She was so natural and so down to earth. The way she talked was like feathers it was soft and light. it was raspy when she woke up. The way she would kick her feet when sitting on something she couldn't reach the ground on which was a lot of things considering the fact that she was only a couple inches taller than her 11 year old sister.
