                                                                                          !!

Silence, that's all I heard. Absolute silence. This wasn't my usual wake up call that's for sure. Where the hell are the yells from my bitch of a mother to wake up? Where is my blaring alarm clock? Where am I, I questioned myself? Flashes of last night danced across my mind, leaving a pounding against my scull. The music, the people, the drinks. I am so hungover, is all I could really processes.

“Get your ass up!” A voice spoke loudly straight into my ear. I jumped followed by a moan. The hammering my head intensified with each syllable.

I groaned as I sat up taking a good look at the room around me. I focused on the ugly orange and grey carpet under me. There was only one person I know that has something this terrible in there home. Tyler. I was on the floor of my friend Tyler's living room. I groaned again as I pulled myself off the nasty rug. My body gave a good crack before I was fully up. Great, now I was going to be in uncomfortable back pain for the rest of the day.

“You're going to be late for your first day of school if you don't get out of my house,” That damn voice again. Only Tyler would care to send me to school after a night of intense partying.

“Yeah, yeah. I'm leaving,” I replied taking a good look at the tall boy who had stood over my passed out position on his floor. His dark eyes scanned my every movement. He was more like a big brother than anything else but that didn't mean I wanted to hangout.

I took a quick look around the room making sure I had everything I came here with. My cellphone was still safe in my pocket. I walked to the kitchen grabbing a piece of toast off one of the guy's plate followed with a 'Hey'. It's one of the boys in the frat house so it doesn't matter. I had them all wrapped around my littlest finger. The perk of being one of the only girls that actually knows how to party. I grab a beer out of the fridge for good measures, and did a bee line for the front door.

I had almost made it to the door before a calm and quiet voice stopped me. I turned on my heal crossing my arms as I faced him.

“Aren't you hung over already?” Zain one of my so called 'friends' questioned as he eyed the bottle in my left hand. Zain and I got along fine, but friends wouldn't be the exact work I would use to describe our relationship. We were 'friends' out of convenience more than anything else.

“Best way to cure a hangover,” I mumble lifting the bottle in his direction. “drink some more,” I answered giving him a lazy smirk, not in the mood to converse.

I left quickly after that trying to not get noticed again by anyone else in this house. I hate sticking around with Zain and Tyler too long, they do my head in. They're also slightly perverted which gives me the creeps once in awhile. Like I'm someone who can keep up with naughty jokes, but they take it a little too far.

I headed to my mom's house by foot. I can drive, I just never felt the need to get a car. Everything is walking distance anyway. I cracked the bottle open taking a sip as I walked. I'm actually surprised she let's me stay with her. She doesn't like me one bit, ever since I was born actually. I've always been holding her back for her true calling or so she says. Hold her back my ass, she doesn't want to do anything but get rich quick. She shouldn't of had me at such a young age if you ask me. We wouldn't be in this position if she didn't screw up at 16.
