As the maiden twists and moves,
Do you hear the the sound of the ileke singing and dancing also ?
Slow like the calm of the morning stream ,then fast like the revered waterfalls, unforgiving in majesty.

Watch the maiden beads move up,down, right and left.
The man with a lesser will is trapped in the undulation that follows the maidens will.
The ileke is power given, the ileke is her beauty shown.
Hear the beads sing ,the pra par sound going with the drums.

The other maidens watch the dance, intrest no longer in the drums but the ileke that gives her that power .

I wonder if the strings get tired of the fast pace ,the ileke is going or does it fear for failure or it craves the unending applause that may come.
