In present-day (2017) a giant submarine crosses the seas. In the interior, the captain Jesse Kane checks on the coordinates of the submarine. " We're getting closer to discover the lost city. We are going to get rich." His son David Kane approaches his father and crew. " This will be the greatest discovery of the century.
The submarine starts to shake, "what's happening?" Ask Jesse Kane worried. David looks everywhere " He's here".

Aquaman pushes up the submarine to the surface. The crew falls over in the control room.

Aquaman pushes the submarine harder and puts it on the surface. He jumps out and lands on top of it.

Aquaman rips out the top door and gets into the Submarine. He looks back and sees one of the crew members pointing a gun at him. " I suggest you drop the weapon". says Arthur in a funny way. He punches the crew member so hard the helmet that knocks him out. He continues to walk, and arrives at the coordinate station, and see the entire crew. " Pirates are not allowed in the oceans". Aquaman rips out one of the tunes inside the station and throws it at them. Jesse takes out his knife and swings it at Aquaman. He headbutts him that sends him to the floor. Aquaman knocks the entire crew down until David shoots Aquaman in the shoulder.
David approaches Aquaman " You're the supposed king of Atlantis. You're nothing but a coward". Aquaman kicks David in the legs, puts him on his knees, and punches him in the face. " I'm the Aquaman". He destroys the one turbine of the submarine and the water starts to fill in. Aquaman approaches the stairs. " Hey, please save him". Aquaman looks at him " This is on your own". He leaves the submarine. David tries to escape with his father the water continues to rise. " C'mon Dad, we're going to do this together". Says David worried. His father struggling " David, I want you to have this". He gave's his knife to him.

" go to the secret room and leave, I will be always with you". David screams angrily. As he walks towards the stairs the water continues to rise. David takes one last look at his father and leaves. He enters a secret room and activates a small ship that converts into a stingray and swims away. As he drives away, he hears an explosion in the distance. David closes his eyes and tears start to fall.
