CHAPTER 2

3RD POV

Alayna was in a lab.

Scientists surrounding her.

Her biological parents in the back of the room laughing like maniacs.

She tried to jerk away knowing what they were going to do.

One of the scientists had a shock collar, it opened making a sickening crackling noise.

"NO!"

Alayna screamed trying to get away there were at least seven men trying to hold her down.

"NO! PLEASE!"

All of the sudden another person walks into the room or people.

She looked up it was her Dad, Steve and Natasha.

"HELP! NAT! STEVE! DAD! GET ME AWAY FROM THEM!"

Alayna screamed still struggling with her attackers, they were still trying to put the collar on her. She tried to use her powers they didn't seem to work and she didn't know why.

Steve then said.

"Why would we help a monster?"

Alayna then punched one of the scientists in the face. Making her way to her father begging for help. She knew they would be back soon. As soon as she said that more came flooding in and she still managed to fight them off.

"DAD! PLEASE! HELP ME!"

"You did this to yourself Alayna, your a monster and a murderer and that can't be helped. I can't believe I ever adopted you"

Right when her father said that a shock collar was snapped on her neck.

Alayna screamed

Alayna woke up in a cold sweat still remembering the nightmare clearly, she groaned and got up knowing that after that she would have trouble sleeping much less get any at all this next week.

"Ala?"

Alayna jumped up. Not noticing that she got so scared, clenching her fists which caused her powers so things started to float around the room a little bit. Nick Fury noticed this he also noticed how scared his daughter looked. Alayna looked up and  saw it was her dad, everything around her landed on the ground with a big thump.

She winced.

"Hey Dad."

"Are you alright, Alayna?" Nick asked worried.

"I'm okay Dad, really."

Nick looked at her questionably, he could see how shaken up she was. She was good at hiding it but, not from him. He knew that she barely got any sleep anymore. He also knew that she has had nightmares a lot from Steve Rogers calling him worried one night when Alayna started screaming.

Alayna recently found out that her biological parents had died a few years ago about when she was 19, leaving her siblings to fend for themselves. She had no idea, she wanted to be apart if her siblings lives yes but, when they have been practically washed off the face of the Earth? She didn't know where they went and it worried her.

Alayna could feel what he was feeling, he was worried. She couldn't blame him, she would be to if she was in his situation.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Her father finally asked breaking the silence between the two.

"I'd rather not."

"Alayna."

"Look Dad, I love you, but I don't think this something you can help." Alayna said sadly.
