No One's POV

Narrator drove his car down the highway at speeds he knew weren't necessary, or safe.

He pulled out his phone, dialing a number he knew very well.

Ring…

Ring…

Ring…

Ri-

Narrator hung up, throwing his phone over to the passenger seat. He groaned, putting both hands on the steering wheel as he drove off to find his best friend's house.

-

Narrator slammed his car door, storming his way up to the door of Eddie's house. He realized that Courtney wasn't there yet, so it was a good sign. He took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

. . .

"Hello- Grant..?"

Eddie answered the door, shock written all over his face. He looked at his friend's body language, which signalled he wasn't happy. He hopelessly smiled at the other, their eyes locking.

At that moment, Eddie felt something he hadn't experienced before. It was a bit of relief and happiness, but something else made his heart flutter. There was something else that made butterflies fly around in his stomach. There was something else that made his worries immediately flow away once locking eyes with his dearest friend.

What was it though?

"Grant I..please, come in."

He moved himself out of the way, giving space for his friend to hesitantly walk in. He closed the door behind Narrator, sighing. He couldn't stop smiling for some reason, he was finally seeing his best friend again. After their fights and shit like that, they could finally talk like normal again.

..Or so Eduardo thought..

Narrator stood in front of Eddie, his arms crossed and his glare present. Eddie sweat dropped, feeling embarrassed. He cleared his throat, and began to speak.

"Grant look...I'm really really sorry about how I've treated you lately.."

Narrator's eyes widened. He wasn't expecting an apology. He wasn't expecting a smile. And he sure as hell wasn't expecting a warm welcoming.

Nonetheless, he still had a task to be completed.

"Eddie, right now is not the time for apologies. I have something I need to tell you." Narrator sighed. He ran a hand through his hair, as Eddie insisted he apologize for his actions.

"I-I know but, it wasn't right how I treated you! You don't deserve that! You deserve the world Grant!!"

Narrator scoffed. "Hardly. I'm just some idiot that's stuck hopelessly in love." Eddie glared, clenching onto Narrator's shirt. "You're my idiot then for fuck sake!! I don't care what you think of yourself, because I know it isn't true! You're my world Grant!! You deserve every star in the fucking sky, and if I could, I'd give them to you!!"

Narrator's eyes widened. Wasn't he recently telling a certain someone they deserved the world? Since when did that change?

Narrator thought of a reply, but it wasn't the best for the moment. "Hmm..no wonder it's daytime.." Eddie sighed. "God damn you and your puns.." Narrator chuckled.
