Little Survivors: Friends in the Rain

Introduction to the Little Survivors Series

Little Survivors is a Fanseries of Little Nightmares where the main characters of each wake up from their vivid dreams to find themselves in an area way too familiar to them. Each character remembers up to the end of their respective games, but not before nor after(except for the second time around, the current time), forcing each protagonist to survive and work alongside each other.

From The Nest to The Maw, from The Maw to The Pale City, these children will be experiencing the longest nightmares they ever have before. Each book will be visiting a certain place in the Nightmarish world these children reside. There will be a short story for the prologue and the epilogue to set the beginning and ending details of the Little Survivors Series.

The main focus in this series is that if there was a little bit more communication, the children in The Nest, The Maw, and The Pale City could escape together with little to no sacrifices. I understand that the timelines will all be messed up, but that is just how it is with a fan that wants all of the children to be happy.

Each chapter is named after the location it takes place in (e.g. The Prison, The Depths, etc.) except for the VLN chapters and the prologue, which names the chapters after the monsters.

There will also be some original characters in this because I like to have fun and use my imagination. Most of them will be based off of existing characters, but others... pave a path towards another journey for the children.

This story ties in with another one in the works that focuses on another seemingly special child that is trying to survive (based off of a canon character and the story has original enemies). The special child appears in this series! Can you determine who it is?

Just to note before we move onto the disclaimers: there will be areas that lead into headcanon territory. I will also try my best to find the inspiration and muses to continue in the future. My brain forms small blurbs occasionally and not all of it is for the same story.

I will also say that you should at least visit the Little Nightmares Fandom Wiki to understand what is going on or who is whom.
