Me: Yeah
Friend: Hey man look next week's Monday we gonna have a party at Hyatt Regency Hotel ,i'm celebrating my 20 birthday so you must make sure you attend it bro because it's gonna lit.
...What comes in my mind..........i should just accept this so that i don't disappoint him.....
Me:OK bro you count on me .
Friend: That's my homie .
Then he hangs up.
Me thinking out loudly:Why did i accept it, why did i even receive the call....... Mmmmh i must get an excuse for not attending.
One day before the final day i decide to call the friend ...
Me:Hey dude
Friend:Temme homie.
Me : About the birthday party am sorry man.
Friend :But why??
Me:My Uncle is sick and has been admitted to the hospital and the whole family is going to visit him.
Friend:oooooh it's alright then.
Me:Am sorry man .
Friend:No worries.
Hangs up...
Me :wheeww thank you GOD that was too close I'll never accept an invitation again
